Grab the secondary and try to move it up and down. Look closely at the jackshaft bearing on the inside if the secondary. IF it moves at all then the recall was not likely done. Any polaris dealer can tell you if all the recalls have been completed. All they need is the VIN.
It's easiest to see the jackshaft bearing with the airbox removed but it's even easier to just contact the dealer with the VIN.
I asked for the vin a few mins ago but he doesn't have it on him

Apparently the headlight plenum is moved a bit but it is all there and the air box is there as well. Doesn't know about the recall. He bought it off his buddy 3 years ago

I will be trading it straight across for my 2009 M8 153 with around 6000 kms. The reason I am trading is I can not go to the mountains for the foreseeable future. Just too much money. But last year I bought a place out in the country so I can ride from home. I do not really have any people to ride with so I won't be going far. Just a bit of shitty Alberta trail riding and the local trails made by others in the area.
I am also 6'3" and 230lbs so would that help with the harshness lol. I don't mind a stiffer ride. But the rest is good to know!

I will be looking at one of these tonight hopefully if all goes well. What are things to check becides the usual? Also it has twin crankshop pipes and cans which is way too loud for me. Does the stock race iqr exhaust fit or does it have to be iqrr specific?
Ps. Yes this is the same sled I mentioned in tbp in October but some Shenanigans happened and it didn't go down so now I'm finally looking at it now.

Rip Rob. I have been a lurker on fs since 2008 I believe. And like a lot of other people, I have thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
On a side note. I would do a lot of horrible things to get my hands on a '69 hugger orange and white striped Camaro with hidden headlights. Sadly by the time I am able to own something like that, they will probably be banned or fuel unaffordable.

Badass car but if it is going to be anything like the last roadster they put out you will probably not be able to buy one even if you did have the outrageous amount of money needed as there will be a 3+ year wait list and you will probably not even get it as they will stop production before the wait list is finished.

Crate her indoors with a few chew toys. She'll get used to it.
She destroys the crate. She chipped a tooth trying to get out the last time and has 0 interest in toys. But for the last 2 weeks she has been using her nice dog house and there has been no signs of escape attempts. So we are doing good now

We are sticking with it. The day she ran away and was gone for 23 hours before someone found her, it was the loneliest the house has ever been. But now by the looks of it we have a new problem. So I built a shitty dog house for her a two weeks ago. I mean it did the job but I built it outside at night by myself cutting sheets of plywood. Not every cut was straight lol. But she used it. But there was no insulation in it and it was starting to get cold. So a couple days later I went out and bought a sweet dog house that is made out of metal and is well insulated. She won't fucking use it. Yesterday it was minus 10*c and she layed in the snow for over 4 hours without moving. She melted the snow and ice till it was bare grass under her. When I got home she was freezing and shivering. So I brought her inside and out a heated blanket over her till she warmed up. Today I had my other half get her to go in the dog house before she left for work. When she left, the dog went and layed back in the same spot as yesterday. I would love to keep her inside all day but she seems to go a little batty when we do that. Not sure on what to do. Breaks my heart to see he freeze.

Wow. We are giving her clomipramine as prescribed by the vet and having little to no effect

We got real close to throwing in the towel a couple of times. She has escaped 4 times and ran away 3. One of those times she was gone for 23 hours. We are about a mortgage payment into her, the start up and things to keep her there such as the kennel and a really nice dog house I bought. It has not been easy but we are way to emotionally and financially invested into her to give up now and I mean if I can justify a snowmobile how could I not justify this lmao

Your dog looks great Tomas...things going better with her anxiety issues?
Yes and no. We got a 12'x7' dog kennel/run and she has escaped it twice by pulling the mesh off the bottom rail. Last Wednesday we were watching her on an old phone we have set up as a real time camera whole we are at work. She started going nuts around 10 so I waited till about 1030 to see if she was going to calm down but no dice.
So I took of from work and was trying to make it home before she got out. She did get out but was thankfully still in the yard when I got there. She still is nervous of me so we had a standoff. I had to get my girlfriend to leave work to help me. As soon as she got there, Bailey started to wag her tail and greeted my girlfriend. So I know where I fall on the totem pole lol. So after we got her on a leash again I set about setting up the house and her crate so I could go back to work as well. I put 6 pad locks on the create to hold it together. It worked but when I got home there was part of a tooth on the floor and blood in her fur from biting the pad locks and crate.
Today she seems to be fine and doing nothing but sleeping in the kennel. I hope she lasts the next hour as I should be home by then

The only python you got is Kevin Spacey's lol. And I didn't ask the forum if I should get a dog. I was looking for opinions and experiences with adopting a dog from a shelter. And the only thing you started is aids from gay butt sex. And how could you possibly start those my best buddy fantasies if your are not the one and only flaming homo that is mach z not.

Lmao the dog is awesome. But I would rather be a slum dog welfare recipient as you put it then the scum sucking, special pudding guzzling, weak saw having, spaghetti armed loser that you are. Ahahahahahahaha.
You probably have so much "ownage cum" because you have been covered in so much for so long you started saving it

Yes got a 2 week supply. The vet seemed kinda useless to me. Didn't really look at much, didn't really check into a lot. And after I had booked an appointment as early as I could and showed up super early because I had work to go to, he made me wait for a half an hour past my appointment time in the examination room.
On other notes, this dog loves my gf but I have a strong feeling it is just because she is a female. The dog is more or less terrified of me. 8/10 times she won't even take treats from me. I know she needs time. I will keep doing the best that I can and after yesterday's escapades, I am way to emotionally invested in this dog to give up. I just wish they could understand English lol. Then I could get my message across lol

I got a phone call when I was about 1 minute from home from a lady that said she thinks she may have my dog. Turns out it is a neighbor 3 houses down from me at the end of my street. She found my dog right at the bottom of the road. Said she saw the dog on her way to work this morning And didn't think anything of it. But when she saw the dog on her way home from work she got suspicious and grab the dog and called animal shelter on the tag. Who gave her my number and called me as I was rolling up on her in my car.

Well that was a short run...... She ran away this morning. She is chipped and I got her registration tag last night and put it on. The other half is driving around till she has to go to work. Her sister is in another vehicle driving around as well but we live in rural Alberta with lots of coyotes and other not do friendly predators. Hopefully she either comes home or someone picks her up.

Try not to do meds. She has been through a lot.
It it's the last thing i want to do. I got some all natural herbal stuff as well I might try first but I need time to get a fence up

So we went to an off leash dog park this morning. We were a little nervous as she doesn't always listen to commands. She was unbelievably well-behaved. Would not run with the other dogs. She just kept about 50 feet away from us and would stop and wait if we got too far back, she was just happy to be there. She didn't bark at any other dog. Great with all the other people. Picked up a prescription for anti anxiety meds and going to fence off a portion of our yard for her and see how that works

I am 30 mins west of Edmonton, so yes. What makes this one very tempting is the fact I won't be out of pocket. He wants a mountain sled and I want a flat land sled. And with the prices of m8's right now and with mine being such high mileage, it is hard to flip
