Good watch about a Canadian veteran who called into veteran affairs and was suggested that he commit suicide and the phone operator would help

I just picked up my first Google phone last week, 7 pro. It is good so far. A few weird things it has done like on first start up they keyboard wouldn't appear so I had to restart it and that fixed it. The biggest thing I don't like is that you cannot double tap the screen to turn off the screen/lock phone.
I don't feel like giving Tim Cook a blood sacrifice to join the apple cult lol.
Buddy says he wishes he could get a phone with Samsung's hardware and Google's software.

The list is at the bottom of the short article

The biggest gun org is the Canadian Coalition for Firearms rights. They are currently taking the government to court over all this shit.
Up here, being labeled similar to the NRA is a bad thing.
Guns just aren't a major part of everyone's life like they are down there thanks to the second amendment. Most people are very uneducated on the subject. So when there is a pile of (gang) shootings in the metropolitan areas, it isn't hard for the government to convince people that all guns are bad. It has been a goal of the Liberals and Liberal lite parties to disarm all of Canada for a long time. The Liberals of the last 30 years are not the same as the previous generation.
Every time there is a mass shooting in the states, it factors in to the conversation up here even though the gun laws and regulations between our two countries are almost polar opposites.

Of course healthy living is paramount to living a healthy life. But her stance is that if you have stage 4 cancer, it is your fault for letting it get to that point. Nevermind that children can get stage 4 cancer or that doctors can fail the patient and let it get to stage 4.
I hate the wef as much as the next guy and I want reform. But Danielle is looney.
Best clip I can find. Not sure if it will work as I don't have twitter

While Kenny is a massive turd (like 99.9% of politicians) Danielle is not right in the head. She is literally on record blaming people for getting stage 4 cancer.

I bought 5 between June and August lol. First 5. Technically 3 are mine and 2 are my wife's.
Definitely not lying down and taking it. Thankfully we have organizations like the Canadian Coalition for Firearm Rights that are suing the government over this bullshit.
These bans were passed by order in council. So no parliamentary talks and or votes. Basically Liberals pushed it without due process under the guise of public safety. It doesn't help that in Canada we don't have any property rights.
Another issue is that a large majority of Canadian don't have a strong opinion on guns, especially handguns. So they don't give a fuck one way or the other. It is the ole "if it doesn't effect me directly.....".
I know someone who thinks guns are silly unless for hunting but doesn't care for them. I asked him what about his son (9) who is showing an interest in hunting (the 3 of us went out for grouse a couple of weeks ago and the kid loved it), what if he became interested in guns and handguns but was not able to because of the current policies and useless bans. He said he wouldn't be bothered one bit his his kids didn't have the opportunity to get into guns. He would prefer they didn't. Now he has nothing against me or other legal owners and would be the last person who would ever stand for anything politically but he is the large majority of the uninterested and uneducated on the subject voter that is killing the hobby and sport.

I just got this old Coleman heater from my dad. It will light and put out heat but not nearly what it is supposed to. I assume the head or wick is old and dirty but replacements don't exist.
After some looking on Google, I came across a Coleman collectors forum that said to put denatured alcohol (in my case methyl hydrate) on the head and light it apparently lit burns hotter and cleans up the wick. I did that and it made it marginally better. The next thing I seen was to soak it over night in carburetor cleaner then work it in the morning. The wick is behind a screen and I can't get at it.
Is anyone familiar with these things?

I dunno you can get a C8 sport, Supra, top end Camaro or Mustang all for the price of a new 2500 pickup…

That is definitely a major factor.
The the prices of old muscle cars are silly.
The old generation spent >$2000 buying old cars before the market got hot, put $10,000-$30,000 (if they were lucky) into them and then sell for $100,000+ and stand and wonder why there are no young people doing it.
I have seen rotted out bare chassis gen 1 Camaro's ask $15,000
-
Kids these days can't afford to get into them even if they wanted. The boomer's made everything so expensive that those old muscle cars are basically unobtainium for the majority of the people who would would carry the torch.
Basically drove the market through the roof and wonder why there is no new blood lol.

any archery/ pcp guys in here?
in Current Events
If it passes. Even the NDP have come out against it and the Liberals needed their vote to push it. Nothing will happen till summer next year at the earliest.
They are non restricted so the government won't know you have it unless you tell them with social media or the like
