Damn 13%. Thats redonkulous.
After I moved from Ontario i was hesitant to change my phone number as I had that number for years.
When I changed my phone number and my address it saved me 8% on my bill every month as now I was paying less tax. Same provider, same plan.

I’ve sold two to Nooks. It’s been years but I had to receive a letter from the manu stating there were no outstanding warranty fixes on the sleds and had to fill out a verified sale documentation form they provided so they could get hosered up good and proper at their customs office.
I didn’t mind too much but, neither liked it at all. They were normal Canadians that hated their country’s outrageous taxes though. Pretty sure they weren’t into kayaks and solar power.
Sounds like they were from Ontario.
Ontario pays 13% tax on everything. Even used vehicles. It is absolute bullshit.
Out here in Alberta we only pay %5 tax on new items. There is 0 tax on used vehicles, the way it should be.

If you don't mind a 155
Here is a new 2018 assault rmk for $7500. This dealer is part of the same dealer chain but is 10 mins west of Edmonton. The other ones I showed were in south/central Edmonton
-
The same dealer also has a new 2018 sks 146 for $7,500 usd
-
I don't know where in the USA you are located but maybe a dealer in Canada might work?
The Polaris dealer in Edmonton has a 2019 assault for $9,900 USD.

Just buy bushings and a new spring. How much do you want to drop into the primary?
I was hoping not to spend anywhere near $400 lmao.
The sled has around 4000 miles and I am not sure if the clutch was ever serviced.
There is a little play with the movable sheave and the spider/shaft. I am not sure if that is worn buttons or the bushing in the shaft or a bit of both. So I was thinking replace all the wear items and not worry. I had no idea that a few small bushings were going to cost so much lol

I would buy the new clutch if it were me...makes more sense IMO.
Right.
I searched for a power block clutch online to fit my sled and I didn't find anything.
I messaged the Polaris master (AKiqpilot) yesterday but he he hasn't responded. Maybe his mail box of full. Or living in the sunshine is just that awesome lmao

I called a local shop. They said for an epi rebuild kit $300. Polaris wants $430. Then they told me that CV tech sells power block clutches for around $350-450. And that is a complete primary clutch bolt on, ready to go.
How can it makes sense to rebuild this clutch for $350 (with spider socket) when I can buy an entire new clutch for pretty much the same price?

Ok. And by bad news I was meaning Do need to replace the spider or more than just bushings

funny thing is 3/4 of the guys I know with the pid have zero idea how to use it and never do . just have it to say they have it . appers to be a Polaris thing .
one of my regular ridding buds had the pic on his 17 rmk had zero idea how it worked never even bothered to make it work .so of course he also ordered it on the new kaos or what ever that longer limiter strap package is called
Idiots that don't know how to use their gauges piss me off. The last three sleds I bought (1 Polaris 2 arctic cat) were all listed in km. I show up and the gauges are in miles. I said wtf. They all claimed they had no idea the gauges could do that.....

Sounds like I am in the minority here but I don't mind the look of the scaffolding.
I prefer the "completed" look of a full length tunnel but the other isn't all that bad, coupled with being a top notch setup functionality wise.

I have a 6"-8 1/4" adj riser made by rox. I originally bought it for my 2007 IQ 600 back in 2011ish. Then it went on my 2010 dragon switchback and now it it is on my 2008 dragon switchback. It is a fantastic setup. I am 6'3" and it makes the world off difference when standing up.
I didn't have it on my 08 d7 last year because the sled came with atv high rise pro tapers and I didn't have the room to run it. This year I swapped out the pro tapers for stock 08 rmk bars and now it fits. I am super happy to have them on my sled again.

Check out the Kawartha Lakes area. Lots of great trails/restaurants/places to stay etc
Yes there is. I grew up in Ontario. Only moved away 5 years ago. I used to put on around 3000+ kms a season. Was able to sled right from home. I miss it. I wish I was still back there as this possible get together sounds like a good time.

I’m going to look into an aftermarket LED for the turbo. Ski Doo can suck a dick for how much they want for their LED accessories. I had one on my Freeride, and it was nice, but not worth 300 fish..
I used to love to stud, now...meh. Plus I’m more into deeper lug tracks these days. For hard trail running, sure give me a 1.25 with some studs and about 18 scratch lines...
where aboots in Canada?
Sounds like north/central Ontario. If I am not mistaken, about half way up Georgian Bay area.

Good luck getting a deal on a Tacoma. I tried buying a TRD Pro. A few grand off at Costco was the best deal I could find. Tacoma is Toyota’s hot seller in the US. The Helix kills everyone in the rest of the world.
You got that right. Even 1990-2004 are still around $15,000 Cad. That is right out of Japan, shipped to Vancouver.

Went over the cfr6. We only put 200 kms on it last year so it didn't need much lol.
When I pulled the plug on the DD, there was some metal flakes on the magnet. So I flushed it out and put some fresh full synthetic ATF and will check it more often. If it continues or gets worse well that will suck lol.
Other than that it was pretty much mint. Added a little grease, checked the plugs. Only thing left after that was to tear up the lawn lol
