  1. All of a sudden two days ago, he became very lethargic and slow moving. He was walking really stiff. so we waited a day because the last time we took him to a vet with an issue he was perfectly fine the next day after a $450 visit.

well last night when I came home, he could barely pick himself up off the bottom of his crate. he didn't eat much the night before or yesterday either.

so I went to the vet last night and they're wondering if it's an autoimmune meningitis. But they gave me some metacam and said he seems stable, heart rate breathing and pulse were all good. but he did have a fever of 39.8 and he did not want to really move his head around, his neck was hard to move side to side.

they suggested that we boil hamburger and rice and see if that would help with his eating. well he devoured the beef and rice last night and he seemed better but he was still very lethargic and not himself.

Tonight I come home from work and he is lying on the couch which is unusual unless somebody else's in the room with him. when he saw me he wagged his tail pretty crazy but he didn't even lift his head off the couch.

so I went to go take him for a walk so I didn't know when the last time he went to the bathroom was and when I went to help him off the couch and moved his neck he yelped like I've never heard before.

So I called the vet again because his condition seems to have worsened and they fit me in as they were supposed to close 10 minutes ago. it was originally supposed to be a full blood panel and x-ray visit but she is not thinking it's a fracture so she's not going to do the X-ray but she's taking a full blood panel.

Sorry if a lot of this doesn't make sense I was using talk to text lol

Ummmm....there are still sleds being manu'd without a tether?  WTF?  I thought this was some type of mandated safety thing like ten years ago or something?  Why wouldn't these machines come with tethers???

I could be wrong but I have never seen a polaris consumer sled come with a tether. Even the brand new ones at the show didn't have one this year

Isn't that the hammer drill?  I just need a regular one.

It has a hammer drill function but I will never use it lmao. But it gives you the metal chuck and the "micro clutch" and for the small price difference, it think it was the better buy

For all the stuff I have, the 4ah batteries work fine.  1/4" impact, 1/2" impact, drill, radio, fans, etc.  Even the 2 ah batteries are fine for light work and to keep the tool compact.  Pretty good system for a homeowner but a contractor would want to upgrade.  The only thing I really don't like is the drill since the chuck on it sucks.

Milwaukee is probably the best for a heavy user or contractor where time is money.

    Is yours the plastic chuck?

Wow, those are small ah batteries, some of mine are 12 ah.

Lol. You can buy bigger ones but for what I need, they have been great.

I may have drained my 2.0 once but I had the 4.0 ready to go on standby. It keeps the tools light. I use them for around the house and on sleds/motorcycles ect.

  6. These are what I have. They plenty for anything on a sled. On paper the 1/4" impact claims 2250 in/lbs which is 250 not than the Milwaukee M18 fuel but I think they were embellishing the truth a little bit lol.

So the impact and the drill with hammer function, 2.0 and 4.0 and charger was $279 Canadian.

They have a lifetime warranty on all parts, service, and replacement batteries.

To upgrade batteries or just get more, they are way cheaper than the Milwaukee's.

  7. I didn't do much back reading but the rigid gen 5 brushless 18v stuff is pretty good shit. Cheaper than the Milwaukee and I don't think the difference is worth the colour red premium. I personally run the rigid. Also rigid has a lifetime warranty that includes free service, parts, and battery replacements as long as you register it online. That alone makes them worth it to me

  8. He probably is talking about the Callaway corvette sledgehammer. The twin turbo c4 of 1988 I believe.

But that wasn't a gm factory vehicle. That is the equivalent of ford saying they have a V8 supercharged 5.0 gt mustang. They sell a Roush upgrade package.

I can't stand the cheap china BS parts we get at work sometimes. These fuckin bean counters don't get that we replace that crap more frequent than if they would buy us the better quality parts.  So what are they really saving?   Chinese chain and sprockets are the worst.

Ya. I hate that as well. Can't see past the end of their nose. And too cheap to buy glasses so they could lol.

11 bearings out. 11 bearings in. Everyone was fucked. This sled is going to be so much better to ride this year. I am really excited lol.

  10. I have owned 4 Chevy half tons.

2000 Silverado 2 door step side 5.3l z71. This truck was by far the best truck I have ever had the pleasure of owning. It got 18 mpg all day long and I beat the snot out of it. Manual transfercase was a god send. My next three trucks are proof of that.

    Since the first one I have owned a 2003 sierra ext.cab 5.3l

    2004 avalanche 5.3l

    And a 2006 Silverado ext.cab 5.3l.

The last three trucks had the electronic shift transfercase. Every one had encoder motor problems. I changed two and the other worked more often than not so I left it.

Also the "auto" 4x4 is a terrible design and I would highly recommend never using it unless you like to fix things.

I run 6004's that are the cheapest I can get in my vintage racer.

I order from McMaster and don't have a business.  Create a online account and order away.  Just be aware of the shipping option you choose.

    https://www.amazon.com/6007-2NSE9-Bearing-6007-2NSE-6007-2RS-Bearings/dp/B07YNV36KD/ref=sr_1_17?keywords=6007-2rs&qid=1574821055&sr=8-17

    Won't ship to Canada.

Apparently kimpex makes them? Just under $20 cad with free shipping.

I am going to make calls tomorrow and see if I can find a decent price local first.
