Again if you put down your TDS baggage for a moment and just look at how the officers death was covered you can see clearly this was not good optics for NYC and the elites who run it.

Again the family of the slain officer was happy to meet with Trump and he spent time with each of the family members. So again the family would not want to have their loved ones die in vain so bringing attention to this story which the media was not covering is smart politically and in forces Trump's position on crime. A position more and more are starting to share in NYC.

Hillary Clinton had nearly twice as much money as Trump and we know how that turned out. Nobody believes the media anymore. Even if they dig up the bones of Walter Kronkite and Edward R Morrow their reputation would not improve.

He puts up the bond and the case spends the next 4 plus years in appeals court that would lead to the supreme Court unless one of the New York courts puts and end to it. But the dream of taking Trump's property is not going to happen.
