  4. A fresh look on my 2011 1200 this year. changed the color of the A arm and bumpers and spindles. Also upgraded clutches and A arm bushings. Come on snow
  5. Yes guessing they will change then get the snot beat out of them over the weekend.....long term warm up again...
  6. Just looked today don't see alot of trails open. Anyone riding this Christmas break
  7. Certainly can't hurt at this point to try venting it higher however if you zoom in in the pic whish may not work due to image quality most of thebice load isn't below either vent. More in the center and thats where the snow use to melt off my room first so that's why I have put the batt insulation in there
  8. Ya those were he vents given to me st the hardware store as they have flaps to block heat exiting
  9. Those are the vents for the bahrooms and they use to be soff it vented but rood and insulation guy said to moverify them to the roof because the warm air being soffit vented was just coming back uo in the soffit causing more heat and surface mold on the roof sheeting
  10. Ya looked at metal roofing wanted around 30 000 crazy prices
  11. There is lots of snow above where I can reach with my snow shovel from the ground that's all so all the snow above it will melt down to the gutter right and freeze
  12. For now I have removed as much snow as I can from the ground and flipped the heating cables back up into sort of place urned them on.....just frustrating that it still for abit I was worried with removing the snow it might cause more to melt quicker thus building the damn faster
  13. Yes Los of ice and water barrier there brand new roof 3 weeks ago. However last winter started to bend my gutter
  14. So maybe I should roof rake it now.....you can see my cables hanging as it snowed and I couldn't get up again
  15. Ya had that issues first then new exhaust pipe installed and insulated by me. The last try was insulting between the roof truss and new vapor barrier. Also got a new roof with more vents still looks like a damn and I don't have my heat cables up as the roofers finished and it snowed

  17. Tired to upload images but the upload keeps failing
  18. So after all my attic work appears I am still getting some melting....can't tell if there is a damn under it normally it would be alot worse so the insulation and vapor barrierI added helped abit
  19. Yes I he baffles and blockers.....this has been going on for years but basically have to try on fix then wait for winter right....
  20. Yes many years of ice damn battle. Yes above the ceiling of the tub surround there was vapor barrier but no board of any kind and it wasn't even sealed. Didn't know if with the fiberglass surround they figured it was sealed and no tuck tape was needed. Seems poor to me After speaking with more insulation guys this is the last hung they suggested to do. So I have gone up and put vapor barrier in between the truss and sealed it better then added Batts in the area where the bathrooms are too. New roof this fall with extra vents. So hope this solves the issues. I know adding more blown in would be a good idea to. U measured and I have around 11 ices and it's r40 but I think new standard is like 17 inches or something
  21. So been working on adding some insulation to my attic to help with some ice damming. Found that I have fiberglass tub surrounds one in each bathroom. Above the surround in the attic there was no drywall or cement board or anything. Just some vapor barrier that wasn't even sealed. I could reach through and touch the fiberglass shower she'll. This seems very strange to me. I added vapor barrier and made sure it was sealed with tuck tape and added more Batts above it. How should this have been installed...
  22. Did you use a primer first or just a tremclad rust pain primer and paint in one? What color is under the silver? Like I said debating on going white but black right now so afraid that any chips will really show through
