  1. Not just sled trail, mutliuse.so traffic all year!!! Huge cottage area in the summer Hunting season etc.. On the plus side the former Lighthouse restaurant has reopened and doing well as The Gate.
  2. Thanks guys!! I'd never ever recommend tonsils out this late in life (44). By far the worst pain I've ever experienced And I've done many stupidly painful things in my time!! And of course. All new snow and trails green again... Sigh....
  3. Yup , illegal!!!! I was think the two wheel car carrier for some reason. Too be fair I just had my tonsils ripped out, uvula cut out and nose rebuilt.. Morphine clouding everything!! Without question absolutely illegal. Traffic coppers dream right there!!!
  4. Ahhh..sorry, missed that. If frozen enough to drive on, the argo would not be considered a vessel... back to being Off Road Vehicle. And yeah, gotta love the Labs... great dogs for sure.. Still miss my original one.
  5. Wow!! I can't see tha being legit. I will have to double check to ensure my answer is 100% Let me get back to you on that one... Sean A pic would've great... I/m still shocked!1
  6. Crossing a rail line at an unmarked location is considered trespassing so could be the $65 total fine under trespass to property act or could also fall under the Railway Safety Act in which case the fine starts around $115 I believe...this is a federal regualtion as well so you could be slapped with a court appearance. Highly unlikely but I want you to have as much info as possible!! Argos would be covered under to off-road vehcile act and all requirements apply including helmets and plates. Technically on the water they become a vessel and as such would require the related safety gear including life jackets. Rupert is doing awesome!! Such a great dog, really think he aopted me! He has become very affectionate as he grows older. Thank you for asking Sean
  7. Well...first you need to take some dance classes....

    Red

Red Rocket? I see he's pretty active on TBP... Not in the Canadian thread though....its pretty much dead.
  9. As far as plate renewal goes...its not really tickets, its unpaid fines owed to the government. So, yes...if you fail to pay the fine you will not be able to renew your plates.
  10. Too be honest, I've not yet had anyone fight the ticket. Seems most of them take the chance on either a fine or buying the pass... The fact that the charge does not end up on your licence abstract seems to sway them from going to court, just pay it and it goes away.
  11. Yes, the actual set fine is $200. The extra $40 is victim surcharge.
  12. Just one? Wow... I hope that means that area is very compliant. Our unit has written way too many this season. Sad really, at least the money spent on the permit goes back to the trails.. The money for the fine just goes back to the provincial coffers for social programs and healthcare etc...
  13. Nice looking boat... low hrs as well. You're right...his ad sucks. Does not do her justice at all!! I like your attention to detail, the cradle for the drive is an impressive touch.
  14. Total fine for not having trail permit is $240. Again, a zero tolerance offence.. no trail permit = ticket every time.
  15. Orrrr.... what Poncho said!!! LMFAO!!! On a side note...was in the Cloyne - Gunter area today. Trails great and only a few sledders out. Somehow still 2 trail permit charges though.
  16. Yes, I could easily see trail side brawl!!! You have to look at it just like a collision with your car. There is an obligation to report any collision with over $400 damage or injury. Exchange info as would normally, definitely take pictures and the contact the police asap. We will generate an occurrence and provide with its number for your insurance company. AS for the deductibles, again no different from a car.. and of course dependent upon the insurance company and your level of insurance. We can lay charges after the fact based on your statement but that does mean you will have to testify in court to support this. Duty to report accident 13. (1) Every person in charge of a motorized snow vehicle who is directly or indirectly involved in an accident shall, if the accident results in personal injuries or in damage to property apparently exceeding $400, report the accident forthwith to the nearest police officer and furnish the police officer with information in respect of, (a) the names and addresses of the persons involved; (b) the date and location of the occurrence; and (c) the circumstances under which the accident occurred.
  17. LMFAO!! Pretty sure no one on here would argue that Puzzler!!!
  18. LMAO!!!! Yeah... should've specified more clearly!!!!
  19. Every Doral I've looked at just screams solid build quality with great finishing touches.. Shame they went under. Looking forward to seeing the Alegria next month!! Will keep you posted. Its weird.. liked the brand new Rinker we were on...but still prefer the layout, quality, small touches and the more solid feel of the older Dorals..
  20. Of course... Bennington is the "high end" of pontoons!! Ugh... still a pontoon!!!
  21. The SeaRay people did it right. Had to sign up for a timeslot on their 40 footers and up. And yes, $100K for a pontoon is unreal!!!!!
  22. Hard to say... was wearing Crates/Regal name tag...
