I envy anyone that can attend that demo - might be the best place on earth this year to ride the new 858's, all models.

On the other hand, I kinda wish Cat could keep the schedule they set - moving venues confuses everyone.

Yes, in Island Park you could ride your sled to the demo (was supposed to be at a warming hut) then afterwards venture of on a ride, but being in Montana I would have to drive there (likely without my trailer) then drive back to Idaho for a short ride before going home.

  3. Took a ride in the Big Hole Mountains today instead of Island Park,  closer to home and more snow than I expected.  Plus side was we were the first ones to hit the freshly groomed trails.

I know you try really, REALLY hard to insult me. Dont know you from Adam, so don't care. Have less than 2 miles on my sled. Zero snow. Might not ride it till next winter. Old enough to not have a coronary over it. Love the seat and seating position, and the panels and hood and the attach system. Took me maybe 2 seconds to put my 22L. tunnel pack on. Mother nature is a bitch, but you are one shallow little fuck. I must threaten your boy hood,  or what ever you go by. Hope you blow your sled up.

I Must have been pretty damn insulting to you, you passed up all the previous "references" but I was the one that got you triggered enough to respond?

I Dont care if you know me, I have heard enough, read enough of you to form an opinion and the way you derail every forum you enter is comical but doesn't contribute to the conversation.

Thanks for wishing a forum members sled will blow up, real classy of you, but if it does i'll just rebuild myself like I do with everything I own so no need to have a dealer on speed dial to come fix my trash heap cat.

There's a fella on here who swears by the Catalyst. Says it's the best sled in the industry. Said it absolutely blows the Poo 650 models away. Looking forward to an excellent response from him on this subject. He should be able to provide real life info as I think he said he's up to 6 miles on his.

I hear he gets very emotionally invested in his gospel of speading the wisdom of the Catalyst.

Here is a close reenactment of his previous speech.

Don't even need a heated shop for it!    :tumbleweed:

Yup spend 2.5 months working on a sled and re-doing a enclosed trailer just for this.Screenshot_20240123_151704_Weather.thumb.jpg.60b56dfb27873df1da8f2e7979b86e08.jpg

Might as well get back to finish putting together the two blown ktm 2t's in the shop.

Really need to adjust the timing of my toy repairs and not do them "in season".

  7. Glad to see they'll have one in Island Park this year, never been to a demo event but since its only 1 hour North of me I think i'll check it out.

Never cared to go to Snob-son hole, WY for past events.

  8. Hauled the white turd to the DMV this morning, spent about 45 minutes with them going through the process to get a rebuilt title.

First time they have had to deal with a situation like mine where i bought it and am the one filling out the forms for a salvage certificate (previous owner was supposed to do it within 30 days of declaring salvage) then filling out another form to get the rebuild title.

Inspected sled vin then had me start it, and for the cost of $35 I'll have the title in two weeks.

    Glad this nightmare is over!

That's pretty cool. Love the bearcats!

Had to tow one off the hill unfortunately, wouldn't start and checked the plugs that were installed this morning,  one was a nice brown and the other looked brand new.
