they got absolutely clobbered in the first race...

so what you are saying is the cats only perform well in the litter box but not in actual snow?

Looks like an old school snox track

Word on the street is they let arctic cat design the track so they can win. Also heard there is a joker race they are going to surprise the fans with. Tucker Hibbert is coming out to race the pro class on his super jag. If someone beats him they will get 50k. If Tucker wins skidoo and Polaris have to pay him a million dollars each because it is shameful they can’t beat a real Arctic Cat.

. I haven’t spent that much money on hyfax in 10 years. I have replaced maybe 3 sets. The way this season has been I am sure my stock ones are probably shot. I haven’t really check them out though. Too much dirt on them. It will also give a reason to put white ones on it. They are more slippery than the black stock ones because the white plastic reflects heat.

If anyone wants to get into a catalyst cheap just apply for the race program as a drag racer. They have more production sleds available than RXC/RSX units

I am applying for the parts discount this year

My Escalade had long tubes and way more power than that.  My Audi still has cats....for now.  Realized it was parked in a field of mud and ice when you saw it, lol

True. I lost my house keys in that mud pit and didn’t know it. It broke off my key chain. It lead to a long night lol.

I am a set of down pipes from being beyond that in my s6.  Keep going back and forth.  Non catalyzed gas makes my wife sick, but she only needs to drive my car when I take the truck.

I didn’t think the truck had cats on it, or any exhaust at all?

Montreal-based electric snowmobile manufacturer Taiga Motors says it is pausing production and temporarily laying off around 70 workers.

The company, which also makes electric watercraft, says its decision is in response to a challenging economy and an exceptionally mild winter.

Taiga released quarterly and annual results today but did not hold a conference call with investors, and a spokesperson said managers would not be available for interviews.

It says its net loss was $72.5 million in 2023, compared to a loss of $59.5 million in 2022.

Brp sweeps in and buys it for pennies on the dollar and gets it for basically free with government money. Now a full line of sea doo taigas and skidoo taigas

There aren’t many dealers around me that sell only powersport machines. They are most often diversified and also sell outboards, boats and watercraft, small construction equipment, or outdoors products of some fashion. There just aren’t many stand alone dealers that only sell one brand anymore. Just because sled sales are down I don’t see why a dealer would quit carrying snowmobiles unless they are in Pennsylvania or somewhere that already has very marginal winters.

High interest rates, ski high price increases year over year for machines since COVID and the OEM’s greed to keep prices high has finally bit them in the ass. A shit winter was icing on the cake. Fuck them!

Most snowmobile dealers have never been stand alone dealers. Snowmobiles are a consider a short line and have been since the beginning of them. I have customers that would drop any of them in a heart beat as their ag/construction side is so big they it wouldn’t effect their bottom line

    Anybody using hybrid irons?

They won’t help your game unless you at par or below consistently. Taking lessons will improve your game more than clubs ever would.

The only single line snowmobile dealers this would impact is Yamaha. They already pulled out. All the others are diversified enough not to be greatly impacted as they sell ATV, UTV, and other power sports machines and often different lines.

You would be surprised how many will drop them like heart beat
