The epa only has the 850 in the chassis variant listed. Its like carb , the engine maybe approved but the chassis it is in with the evaporative location must be approved too.

That was my understanding , and even at my fat old age I love to play in the drifts, and whooped out areas vs a flat highway from bar to bar. That was my entire reasoning for wanting that sled/chassis.

My biggest problem is its fucking red... how does one make that look good...

Be interesting if you end up on the Lynx.  That topic came up Thursday night at a club function.  One guy bought one just to flip because he's figuring they'll be limited to get and demand will be high.  Of the guys that rode it they still like their own sleds which is a mix of Renegades and X-RS over the Lynx for aggressive trail riding.  Nothing wrong with the Lynx just more of a crossover off trail sled.

I damn near brought a lynx home this spring as it was cheaper than the xrs once you equipped it like the the lynx. I am glad I didn’t now as I probably won’t be riding this season either.

It’s funny but I was thinking about motor work.  My old man was a weekend drag racer so, I had my hands greasy while I was still shitting diapers but, who remembers rebuilding Briggs and Stratons in HS shop class?  I wonder if they even have shop class options anymore?  Prolly did away with it  with that nasty, toxic masculinity breeding phys ed shit!

A world of helpless pussies needing government hand holding now.

We rebuilt gm super charged 3800 engines in shop class. That’s would have been 21 years ago.

My buddies went probably 6 years ago. They had no problem picking up a random every night

Before i waste my time trying to get any real in depth discussion going here, how many fellow turbo owners do we have here?

    998 or 1100

I want to run 50 pounds of boost. I have 200 dollar budget. Will it be ok if I ran the stock clutching? Only mods to the sled right now is a ggb can

I may have a line on a decent 20 SX.  I’ll know this weekend. Decent=not clapped the fuck out.

Considering they built like 4 a year, you getting Logan’s old cat?

Trivia: To our surprise, Culver’s is in the South now.  We went..once.  And those turnips screwed up the order and shorted the curds.  When I went back to get them they gave me a soggy mess…..but plenty of attitude behind it.

Culver’s, like hockey, has no place in the south!

    Those bastards.

It’s funny how the term “blown up” really doesn’t fit at all.  Unless you toss a rod, It’s one of the most anti-climactic experiences there is.  The “experience” for those that know what is happening is the heart stopping moment of it all.  Like, simultaneously asking “why is my sled losing power?”and saying “oh no” at the same time. …..out with a whimper it goes.

On of my zr600s had a rod snap and it almost cut the case in 1/2

but the can coolers Textron was giving away were amazing......

I am trying to remember what I did with it. I saw a friend over the weekend that still loosely deals with them. I asked if they have gotten any better since I got out. He said they have actually gotten worse

Yup ... that was me last fall.  I put in an order for a new F150 back in mid September and was told it would be here by early November.  Come early November it was, "Hopefully by next week" each week into December.  Once it got to mid-December I told the dealer I was looking at something else (we had agreed they were OK with me backing out of the truck I ordered), and I pulled the trigger on a GMC the last week of December.  Ironically, my buddy's girlfriend who's mom works at the Ford dealer, bought "my" truck when if finally came in late January.

Yeah we didn’t even talk price, what year it will be, or how much my trade is worth. Just ordered what I wanted. They said I could walk away from it if I found something else as it something they always keep on the lot durning normal times

Looks sharpe. Us in Canada find it spotty to buy trucks. Most are being shipped to the states

You can’t find trucks in the states very easily either. I have had one on order for 3 months now

Well, at the time, we were all completely freaked out by how out of control they were. Every one of us just got off the track as recommended. I still can't believe they let that go on......

And the consumer snow bike market never developed....and I see why......

when I went to the races back in March there were like 2 or 3 guys that were fast and could control them. There was one dip in the track that would pretty much take out the whole field every lap.
