I heard that after 5 minutes the crowd split up. 55% went over to the Doo area and 40% moved on to the Poo area. At this point Textron brought out their Bugatti and McLaren signs. Resulting in 5% remaining. So much for big crowds
Speaking for myself (Polaris owner) I have no issue with Doo or any manufacturer that aspires to produce a good sled for a decent price and if they deserve sled of the year, terrific. Doesn't piss me off at all. This should pose a challenge for the others to step up to the plate. Cat seems to finally be stepping up and Polaris, on the other hand, need to smarten the fuck up with their quality control.
Unfortunately Cat is far from superior to any other sled out there and they have little in the way of sales numbers. An will have even less when Yamaha stops becoming their number one customer
And you forgot to say that both your ProCross sleds were every bit as good as a McLaren or Bugatti. Thank you Deephaven for re-posting the car comparison comments, gave me a good laugh
Even if it was EPA approved there is no guarantee it would work right out of the box. Witness Poo and Doo. Oh right, I forgot, all Cat stuff produced is dead nuts good out of the box. At least to 3 and maybe even a 4th on here
That thought went through my head but opted not to say that, wasn't looking to get jumped on by the blind brand loyal cat guys or listen to the Poo nightmare stories they like to claim. As witnessed in the post above
just wanted to show you that I am not brand LoyalBut, I would think the 900r setup properly would be the winner in the 2 stroke arena. I wouldn't own either of the Doo or Poo turbo as I'm already crossing my fingers with the Poo 850.
We/I don't want him or the other 2 Amigoes. Poo needs to keep working on improving their new units, big time. And having folks blindly say things can't be any better does not help the improvement process.
Had a 2001 225 Johnson, not ficht, clipped to a 20 ' Avenger. The thing was bullet proof. Lot's of ripping around, skiing, tubing, etc. A great motor for us
