  1. @Crnr2Crnr - not sure if Bobby, Alex Deters , or if you'd just go to the super cheese with Carl but the contact info is here - https://snocross.com/about/contact/

    Funny thing you mentioned wet wood chips - back in the early 2010's Kirk Hibbert, a few of the cat race guys and some of the cat racers put together a track using soggy wet hay to lubricate slide rails and they started testing in the fall doing it. He was telling me about it in 2018 at one of the nationals - it was interesting to hear about especially after they used to do chip cross at haydays for a few years there. it would be fun to see something like that but man , the wear and tear on engines I would think would be intense.

    Is the erx national going to be contained to just that main infield area by the main building where the amateur area is or are they making a track out back?

    I haven't heard , tbh I would think it would have to be up front or they're gonna have to make a hell of alot of snow in a short time. I am curious how its going to work out for all of us working the event.

    don't hit enter too many times... LOL

    say if you are going to go through the trouble to buy a SX sled, then rip out the heart, and find a donor to transplant - then why not use the stock ECU or is it not compatible with the existing harness?
    would it be best to utilize an 18/19 CT8K, or the re-designed 20/21/22/23/24/25/26 engine?
    will an F7 engine fit in one?

    F7

    I'm not sure if the ecu is pinned the same as the harness for the 600 , what I was told was the 800 drops in the plugs clip in everything is just bolt on and go - but the ecu needs calibrated for the 800 over the 600. I am trying to learn more about it but its been a uphill battle since we have been racing since June for offroad and just finished last weekend in texas.

    I did get an email last night that said ERX national is still on and is a go with more info coming in the next few weeks.

    "interesting" = sad.

    Hey, sold both my sleds....took a bit of a beating on the 19 too but, had to dump it....I'm out of state for most of season.  Got dibs set for a 21 SX though.  I may do a full on project sled this summer though and drop a 800ctec in it.  Gotta see how the throttle bodies (and other) will line up.  :bc:

    the ctech bolts right in, you can use the 600 harness too. ecu has to be re-programed but thats not hard to get done if you know the right people. Speedwerx built one for Davis

    I very much enjoy the SX races, WHILE THEY ARE RACING.  If cross country racing could figure out a way to stream races, that would get my full attention.  there's a big difference in jumping big gnarly holes at 35mph and launching a sled at 70 next to a culvert.  the XC guys like Herf, Selby, AC10 and even the non-rockstars don't get nearly the respect they should.  This site seems to be completely lacking some @fortune46x

    yep, some make a ridiculous show of it though.

    Kody Kammed Ham has the best head shake in SnoX - you'd swear he is turning down brussel sprouts from a waiter.
