So tippy.  I have seen at least one tip over sitting all alone in a parking lot.

The parking lot posers used to be doos. Now they are cats. Slowest engine with the tippiest chassis. They race in a 5 mile radius of the parking lot. You know like Zambroni. :wind:

  3. Travis is Taylor Sheridan.

And I thought I read somewhere that he is making a new show with the 6666 ranch. Which apparently is Taylor Sheridans ranch in real life.

Would not recommend it.  Haven't filled and sleds from there for 2 years and haven't needed to change the sock since.

Well I haven't filled from there in probably close to 10 years. But its good to know in case Im in that area again.

I guess you can build it to run whatever you want and make it run well that way.  Usually, higher compression engineering require higher octane but it’s some type of formula that is determined by volume ratio and above my pay (and care) grade. I’m just curious why the designed it to run on 87.  Lower octane fuel burns faster and since the fuel is what does the crank cooling….how does that map out?

I don’t know, I just thought it odd that it was engineered to run 87. It’s odd in today’s market.  Not a bad thing though I suppose.

Timing, injector placement along with injector timing also play a very large part in fuel requirements. Its not just compression.

No ethanol 87 oct has the same BTU as no ethanol 91 oct.

No fuel in crankcases in Polaris or Ski Doo liquid cooled sled engines. IDK about Cat, I dont think the Ctec does, but maybe? Where are the injectors?

Well the new Polaris boost engines actually do have fuel running through the crankcase with the secondary injectors.

This is the intank fuel filter from our jeep.  Almost like tar and I've had trouble with the sock filter on sleds.  That's why I won't buy any fuel from there.

Ended up putting a new fuel line on our jeep from the tank to the fuel pump and a new fuel pump.

Care to name the place? I dont usually get gas from bars, but sure as hell dont want to find myself out of gas near this place.

  7. Im not saying you cant get bad fuel from stations, but they are supposed to have filters on the lines at the pumps.

Also if you are wondering what gives better mpg, no ethanol will always give better mpg. Ethanol has lower BTU than gasoline.

  8. Well I did not over eat today. Ate a small portion of everything. I got Covid and was fairly sick this week, but last night I started feeling a little better. But another symptom showed up today, I lost my sense of MOTHERFUCKIN TASTE on Turkey day!!!

Saw no sense in pigging out if I cant taste it.

FAWK ME!!!        Hope it comes back soon so I can devour leftovers at least.

I guess I should be thankful the China Flu didnt do me in.

    Happy Thanksgiving!

I guess Glock boy punched his own grandmother in the face. And skateboard punk had a history of domestic violence. Yep, they were all winners but what else would you expect from rioters, looters, & arsonists?

On a side note, how in the fuck is this about race??? One white guy shot 3 other white guys !!!

A white guy shot another white guy yelling "nigger" at a BLM/Antifa riot. So the leftists have portrayed Rittenhouse as a white supremacist.....

How does that not make sense to you???:smack:

I know it’s not insulated but thinking it would be a good spring/warm day coat..anybody have one and if so what do you think?👍🏼🇺🇸

Valdez and Togwotee are tight fitting. If you are chubby at all, Storm would be better.

Valdez has the Pro shell. 3 layer. Thicker outer shell and therefore probably a little tougher against trees.

My best advice is to just try it on before buying. My bud is smaller in stature and very little body fat. He has had about 3 or 4 Valdez jackets and loves them. Im a big guy, wide shoulders, and a beer belly. Valdez doesn't fit me at all.

My wife quit her Emergency care providers group almost a year ago because they cut hours and pay. You know Covid and all....

The small company she worked for was bought out by a large corp a few years back and they were trying to maximize profits. Anyway some like her left.

But they have been begging her to come back or at least pick up some shifts. And she has been picking up some shifts. But she makes they pay dearly. In fact she just got back from a 3 day stint out of town. Mileage, meals, hotel, oh yeah and $50 an hour over her normal rate. And they just keep asking her for more.

Of course, they DGAF. They will just pass the bill down the line.
