that's what the article sorta states... :pc:

how many people moved to NH during and after Covid?  that prolly plays a big part of it.  one of my buddies in Richmond NH was offered three times the market value of his home, shop and land last fall.  he just retired and sold his business last year and will never sell it.  nice property, been there several times.

I’m sure a lot have. I know at least one in my kids class moved up from CT and they work remotely. I think the article was right about zoning being a big factor though. My road for example has a 4ac minimum to build. The yuppie town I grew up in has a lot minimum too and recently put up a big fuss about a work force housing project being potentially built.

Ive gotten a Christmas tree in Richmond before that’s about all I know about Richmond not much there.

Millennials spend their money stupidly. Spending 23.00 to have grub hub deliver your 15.00 pizza instead of picking it up yourself. 15.00 drinks out 3 times a week instead of one time. 18.00 for fancy hamburger and fries.

I also forgot they drive new leased Audis or Beemers.

Butthurt? No the butt hurt is on the laziest generational fucks the Millennials for complaining they can’t afford a home.
Get a second job, make financial sacrifices, buy a home that needs work.

Our 22 Silveraydo and 23 Exploder are less, but have gone up a bunch too.

You can't tell me parts for a rental car sedan are substantially more then 2 almost new vehicles.

It makes no sense at all.

I’m assuming maybe new cars are cheaper to insure because they consider them safe and less likely to crash with all the crash avoidance and assistance crap on them. I have no idea doesn’t make much sense to me either

Just got the 6 month tab on my daily driver, late 2010's 6 cylinder 175k mile sedan, windshield claim and clean record and bundled insurance.

    We'll call it a $10-12.5k car.

    $942 for 6 months.

Up $110 or so from 6 months ago. Doubled in 2 years.

    Pricey in them parts

my new to me 21 taco is less than half that for 6 months $395

Lots of great deals on the auctions.  Picked this little gem up on the very cheap.  About 2300 lb machine

immediately changed the engine oil, hydraulic oil, and pulled the fuel bowl and suprisingly it was junk free in the carb bowl.  Greased the hell out of it.  Had to get into the valve body and move some lines to switch it from ISO to SAE controls.  Added a couple fans as online says they will run pretty darn hot and vapor lock and boil fuel.  May add a hydraulic cooler in the future and a normal hydraulic filter setup.

overall tear apart and putting it back together it is fairly nice quality at the price point.

Nice I see those online all the time and thought it be perfect for around the yard moving small rocks and making trails. A YouTuber i sometimes watch got one a while back and I was pretty impressed at what the little thing could do lol.

Had an M5...biggest hunk a shit I ever owned.  $700 for a battery and couldn't even change my own oil.. and was in the shop being repaired more than I drove....never again....traded in immediately after extended warranty expired.

Im curious to see if I save any money when I insure my cars in Pa.

I'm kind of holding off on all that right now because of inspection difference. 2 year sticker and guarantee pass as long as check engine light not on in NJ.

Pa. Every year and tear car down and inspect and fail for everything from what I heard.:lmao:..... will try to wait till September and get my last car through NJ inspection for another 2 years then I'll make the switch after that.

NH is pretty strict on inspections too it kinda sucks unless you know a guy. I watch some of these YouTubers driving complete rotted shit boxes that wouldn’t stand a chance of being legal in NH.

  6. Odd I thought all this technology the government keeps mandating in cars was supposed to stop accidents.

The cost of these adas sensors and the calibration of them is insane. Throw in the crazy prices of some basic crash parts and high rental car cost now it’s easy to see why it’s going up. 10k job is nothing now basically 2 lights on a bmw lol

I guess that proves my point. White guys feel that they’re too good for roofing jobs or picking tomatoes and apples. A very soft society.

White guys like yourself right that left a manual labor job for a desk job. Why is it that you made that decision no way it was because the pay sucked for the work you put in.

That pay is superior to any factory work. The only way to make better pay is either white collar or high skilled labor.

This made me laugh the very first listing I got for “warehouse jobs in Wisconsin” came up with one that pays more lol. Granted most that list pay were 20-28 which I’d gladly take to not do roofing. Just face it $30hr for roofing is shit pay and exactly why they can’t get help. It’s probably the most demanding on the body of construction jobs besides maybe concrete and the highest risk of injury all for the lowest pay range in construction jobs.

Walsdorf roofing out of Kiel WI is hiring at $22-37/hr w/full benefits and vacation. $22 is with no experience. Those with 2 years and a good work history start at $30. They can’t find people.

lol you think that’s good pay for that work? They can’t find people because people aren’t stupid.

The days of a shiny paint job and a set of wheels are pretty much over. You really have to push the envelope to get your car noticed now. My dads mustang. Never driven, other than to put it on and off trailer. Not for me. I wouldn’t own a car, I wouldn’t drive.

Damn. Lot of work. I hate drilling spot welds. Couldn’t pull the floor?  Rails look pretty straight.

Floor was crumpled up pretty bad rails weren’t bad it got hit low. It’s even more enjoyable drilling welds when they barely drill out and leave it to VW to put 10fucking million of them.
