I smoke cigars occasionally amd you dont really inhale with them. Plus I dont remember getting any cravings from a cigar. Not saying you’re wrong, just not 100% right.

I’d still think it’s getting absorbed in your mouth maybe not to the extent of inhaling to your lungs but you’re getting something I’d think maybe I’m wrong idk

35, wow, not really worth having then..it's true we rarely go over 40-50 but if we want to our two XP 1000 ATV's and out XP 1000 RZR will go much faster.

Is there a snowmobile speed limit too?

Up north it’s probably ridiculously slow but most anything below the notches is more than fast enough. Yes 45 for sleds and same deal fine south slow up north.

I used vape to quit the cigs over 10 years ago. I forget the values but I used vape for two months that was similar nicotine value to cigs. Then two months with half the nicotine. Then two months without nicotine. Tossed it all in the garbage after that.

You gotta have a plan. Set small, attainable goals.

Don’t you smoke cigars? Don’t cigars have nicotine in them? You didn’t really give it up if that’s the case maybe I’m wrong not a smoker.

  4. I watch his channel sometimes interesting to see how bad some areas are. You know it’s gonna be a bad one when you see a junk old cadi on 24” wheels. Really is sad that town was probably really nice until corporations got greedy

bodywork is an art. it takes time to become a good all around body man. but caring is from a young age. leaving shit loose and no concern is just lazy people, and no one checking the quality of the repair is more of the same. i deal with a ton of insurance companies . progressive sucks. i have pretty much thrown them out. refusal to pay for legitimate supplement with all the documents. a lot of times it comes down to the individual adjuster. just like extended warranty , some guys are eager to help, others act like it's their own money

We will do progressive jobs but we do not negotiate with them on their ridiculous requests. We pass the cost difference on to the customer with all the required paperwork to prove what we did and it’s their problem to deal with. Any progressive customer is made aware of this policy prior to booking sucks it has to be like that but they have screwed us over to many times. We aren’t the only ones in the area like that some won’t even deal with them at all you got progressive sorry go somewhere else.

In our area ins co's are paying $65/hr for labor and minimal markup on parts. How can you hire good techs?

About the same rate here. We say at the shop if they want to deal with fake labor rates we can make up fake repair hours pretty simple. Why do they pay us 60hr but they will literally pay our sublet mechanic shop $124hr how is that justified? Any insurance collision tech that’s any good is making at a minimum 2 for 1 the problem is it takes at least 5 years to get to that point if you even get to that point. Most don’t stick around I’ve seen many give it up over the years for different jobs.

what we need is all the body shops to stick together. as it stands if i refuse the 55.00 hourly rate they call joe's body shop and he takes it. if we all stuck together and said no they would have to step up. now they have their own "authorized" shops they try to force them to. in ny state you go where you want to

That will likely never happen greedy wall street shops will always blow the insurance companies to get jobs pumped out. More and more show up every year so I don’t see it ever happening.

Renegade is right..... DRP's aren't your friend..... Hell, insurance companies are destroying the restoration business with their squeezing of shops labor rate....imbasil claims reps that only know how to cheat a customer.

Progressive is liable for their steering actions..... I believe they advertise a lifetime warranty on their preferred shops work.

I have little faith with DMV dealer complaints inspection.... they typically kick it to a civil issue....From first hand experience, courts are horrible about car issues...

Sounds like you have enough of a complaint and dollar value damages to go looking for a consumer advocate attorney.

    Good luck on the fight

The bold….I believe it’s the shops that do that I don’t think it’s anything with insurance I could be wrong though. I know we offer lifetime warranty on anything insurance or customer pay doesn’t matter.

It’s not just insurance companies fucking over everyone it’s the politicians too. I know in NH for example there was a bill voted down that would have required the insurance companies to pay for manufacturers repair procedures no cutting corners and cheap parts making customers and shops absorb the extra cost to do a correct safe repair per the manufacturer. How that can get voted down I don’t understand.

I spent a ton of time fighting the insurance of the guy that hit my wife to use oem Toyota. I had position statements direct from Toyota for my model year and make that they only support oem parts use due to crash performance and functionality blah blah etc. etc. They didn’t give to shits wrote all used garbage and a/m. I got oem in the end but it was a big battle.

WASHINGTON (Gray DC) - Mexican cartels have been the top dog of black-market marijuana trade in the U.S., according to the Washington Post. But now, border patrol says Chinese nationals quietly built a billion-dollar operation with illegal grow houses.

Experts say they show up with suitcases full of cash, ready to buy farmland in marijuana-friendly states. In Maine, border patrol was alerted to 270 different properties that were growing enough marijuana plants to produce an average of $4 billion a year.

“We have this increasing level of black-market activity that’s interfering with the state’s legal market and you have a lot of money laundering that’s taking place,” said Executive Vice President of Smart Approaches to Marijuana Luke Niforatos.

    Sue them

I’ve heard nothing good about these big wall street investor owned companies like gerber. It’s not really shocking quality isn’t number one making quick money for investors is.

It probably didn’t help either you had the cheapest shittiest insurance company ever progressive.

He wasn’t the brightest bulb but hey he got a free Tesla. He was supposed to take the battery out and sell it when he was first given the car. I think the motor was bad though I don’t really remember the thing was destroyed wasn’t much good on it. I have no idea what he ended up doing with it after he quit. I swiped the emblem for my collection though lol

I had some PDI done on my BMW a few years ago. A squirrel or cat had knocked some 2x4’s off of the ceiling beams in the garage onto the hood. Could’ve been my dead ex wife too. She hated that car.

Anyway, I didn’t turn it in for a claim and paid out of pocket as it was only $400. I did ask the auto body guy what companies paid the best or the worst. That lead to an interesting conversation. I’ve known him for years and he has a good reputation. He said that State Farm and American Family were the easiest. Progressive and Geico sucks ass

I agree with him 👍. State Farm is good in my book and who I use. new one Chubb insurance we’ve worked with a handful of times seems good no hassle or bs oem parts only I believe too. Progressive is the absolute worst biggest bunch of scum bags we’ve ever dealt with and geico isn’t far behind.

I’ve never had an insurance claim on my home, car, bike, snowmobile, van. It’s time something happens to get a little back.

It’s a fun time you’re missing out. I spent a month arguing about oem part usage with the insurance of the guy that hit my wifes car

It is usually easy to spot a panel that has been repaired and painted, beside a panel with OEM paint.

If it were my truck, and some asshole keyed it, I’d want nothing but being made whole.
    Full paint job, please.

I got rear ended by a semi, while I was stopped in traffic. He hit me so hard I got stuffed into the two vehicles in front of me. 2 year old truck in mint condition. I used that truck for my business. 401 under the 409.

Bent the frame. I fought with my, yep my insurance company, because of no fault insurance, to just buy me out.
No they said, we are fixing it, heat the frame and bend it back. Called a lawyer. That gave them the ability to cut off all my rehab, rental vehicles etc. They bled me dry in a matter of weeks. I had to lament. A month goes by and the body shop, a friend of the family says it’s mostly done. Take it for a week and see if it’s good, and bring it back…we’ll do the final stuff.

Had it for the week, seemed good. Was going to take it back that night. Again, stopped in traffic and I got rear ended by a fully loaded cube van. 403 ramp to the QEW.

The frame, where it was heated, folded faster than superman on laundry day. The box hit the cab and fucked more shit up.

I lost my shit on the insurance company, knowing they were in ultimate control.

Again, they said we are going to fix it and brought in a used frame.

I learned a lesson from my previous interaction.
Ok, that’s your prerogative. You need to put every one of my existing parts, brake lines, ball joints, shocks etc on that frame, or you replace with new.

Imagine replacing an entire frame, under a 4x4 pickup.

And by the way, every one of these parts you have to swap better be good, because I will keep this truck until the day I die and you will get sued if any defect causes me harm, in any way.

If I get injured thanks to your shitty policy, I’ll sue you until I’m a baller.

They finally bought the truck, and paid me enough to get a replacement.

A lot of newer truck frames and panels in general can’t be heated like that for the exact reason you described in the second accident. It specifically states in the repair procedures if heating is allowed and if it is how long it can be heated or where. I know Ive brought it up here before when salvage cars were brought up. Likely why they bought it back they realized they fucked up didn’t want to get sued. Truck frame swaps are simple btw especially on nice newer trucks not rusty yet. I’d take swapping a truck frame any day over replacing a unibody frame rail talk about a nightmare.
