It’s not just that they used bad cgi for stuff they never needed to, or that mcgregor was annoying and stupid, most of the music was bad, they dubbed in cheesy dialogue over top of fight scenes where it worked about as smooth as a cheese grater …

as a movie itself there’s basically zero character development, you don’t really get to know anyone. Everyone is just kinda there and by the time you get to the climax of the movie you just don’t give a shit about anyone because you just don’t care 

fun watch in a way for a single viewing but that’s all it is
