Hmmm ... I guess I'd beg to differ as to which one is pathetic.  But you're also the type that thinks gas prices are good right now, given they've come down a whopping 40 to 50 cents over the $3+ hike we've put up with the past couple years.

To be clear, I don't see too many Lucid EV's on the road ... and for that kind of money, I can see why.  Oh, and maybe this also helps portray how pathetic they really are?

I've already seen two driving around my area.  A white one and a goldish brown one.  The white looked really clean and nice 👌

I know if alteast 3 rivians around me too.  Smaller in person than I thought it would be, but its a good looking truck IMO

My 750 with the finest automobile I have ever owned. Fast as fuck, every bell and whistle you can imagine, including LEDs in the panoramic sunroof. That said I don’t know if I would get a fully loaded 750 again unless it was under warranty, they do seem to wear out brakes prematurely as well.  But nothing drives like one. My nephew worked in the service department at the BMW dealership and I got to try out several different brand new models is demonstrators that X.3 M was a really nice rig.  Honestly though at the end of the day, I like the Mercedes Benz better, if only for a reliability standpoint. I’ve owned four of them now and put north of 150,000 miles on each one of them, they really stay together nice.I am still looking for a GLA or an E class for the wife.

My 340 has been flawless for the 3 years I've had it.  It's been mildly tuned for the last 2 years.  Rear brakes and tires is all I've done to it.

Nope. BMW plans to build vehicles with their new ICE to at least 2030. Updated cylinder heads and heated catalyst. They will be delivered in hybrid form. That's understandable because a pure ICE vehicle doesn't have a chance against the new hybrids. All the supercars from McLaren, Ferrari, etc are hybrids.

Err, not.  The Bugatti Chiron will do 304.7mph...which is WAY faster than a Tesla.

You can own 30 teslas for what that costs.

Comparing apples to apples, the Rimac Nevera can do the 1/4 mile almost a full second faster than the Chiron for slightly less money

Nope, pretty much none.  Thank Obama for that.

Well I get great mileage driving like my grandma as well, but in a daily situation it is shit.  I am in da boost ALL the time though.  It is why I have the car.

It was a 2 day experiment to see what I could do.  Got bored real fast and back to driving it like it was meant to be driven :wind:

  6. No oil, coolant, tranny fluid, diff fluid,, power steering fluid, belts, spark plugs, coils, injectors, thermostats, water pumps, radiators, fans, exhaust systems, fuel pumps, fuel filters, air filters, O2 sensors, MAP sensors, and the list goes on.

Yes, ICE vehicles need tires changed.  Brakes? well not very often since you have regen braking. Depending on how you drive you may never need to do brakes.

The only scheduled maintenance on them is tire rotations and cabin air filters.
