Over 37 million people in Canada and just over 1800 people have died from this... Or at least we are told died from this. The economical fallout from all of this is going to be much worse. This is BS

All true. It's just getting to the point, with insurance, trail passes, upkeep, storage and other things, it makes no sense to keep it, but like I said above, it would kill me if he had no sled to ride and we had the time.
I think next year I am going to hold off on getting permits until we have rideable trails around here and it looks like it might stay? That might help but I know Mother isn't to impressed with me spending a G note on those things and not being able to ride.
Don't buy a trail pass or insurance for it and just leave it. Won't cost you anything.....
My kids were ripping this past weekend on the bravo's. Those things are hard on the fuel! lol Signed my son up for go kart racing at goodwood this summer too... Should be interesting haha

EXTRA 300. He said the instructor told him you might take awhile to be ok. But he was fine once he was flying and not the instructor.
Right on... Nothing like going backwards in a plane lol. Hope he got video of his ride

Welcome to the way it is! Stupid doesn't differentiate btwn young and old. Idiots out there blowing corners , riding like maniacs etc etc. I was on the rail line the other day and a group coming my way were giving hand signals and the last one puts the hand out signaling last rider lol. There were more sleds behind them fkn idiots
2 hours ago, Tinker said:I'm contemplating a big Get The Fuck Over sign and arrow on the front of the sled and a spring loaded antenna whip out back for the constant assholes on the wrong side of corners, it's fn ridiculous
So it's not just me noticing that its getting worse eh..

I cancelled the Mattawa trip and headed up to Kushog Lake. Rode tall pines, Algonquin and Almaguin trails. Every thing was in good shape aside from some logging just South of the warm up shack in Algonquin. Its seems to me like a lot of retards have bought sleds this year... Bunch of people on the wrong side of the trail, out of control, in the rubarb and 2 idiots stopped on blond corners.....WTF. Its like riding a motorcycle now where you have to defend yourself. Trails were super busy Saturday so conditions faded by the end of day.. We got at least a foot of snow Sat and more up at Kennisis Lake.

LOL.
I just had 3 friends return from Cochrane who said the conditions were minty. They posted a bunch of pics on FB and things did look great. Quite the hike to go sledding but I think when they left, those trails were mostly the only ones open during that time?
Personally, I'd check out Ontario Conditions for trail conditions/info as most there update regularly.
I didn't really want to drive 8 hours to ride but I was getting close to heading there lol

If we get the snow forecasted this week, I could see it going yellow for the weekend. Groomer has been out as well. I checked out the beach run yesterday and it’s almost unridiable, most of the locals are using the backroads and parks roads to get around.
Thanks for the info.
We just booked a cabin in Mattawa Thursday and Sat, riding to Pembroke for Friday night.

Im on Facebook... I was just hoping that some buddy here rode a sled and could give a report....lol.

The Valois in Mattawa says some trails are open there. Around here the rail trail is yellow from Fenelon to Haliburton
I saw that too. I'd rather hear from sledders instead of a hotel wanting people to come and stay at their place though. And I don't know how the rail line can even be open after that rain

East of north bay looking yellow, but you want guaranteed head to New Liskeard/Kirkland lake, tons of guys reporting Cochrane area is great right now.
Around lake of bays starting to go yellow, I believe we'll see some dwight and dorset stuff go yellow by the weekend as well, possibly.
I got fucking Pneumonia at Christmas, i have not even started my sled since before then.
I know what the OFSC says, but I want to know what it's actually like.

What is it like to the North?? I've got 57 fuckin miles on my new sled and want to ride this weekend. Can anyone North give us a report?? Our cottage on Kushog Lake has basically nothing..
Sorry to start a sled related topic....

Looks like Trudy acknowledges that Iran shot the plane down... wonder if canada is going to to respond to this act of war on Canada by Iran? Sanctions? Blow up the launchers that launched the missles that brought the plane down? Anything?
LOL... NOTHING

I have a question about drinking on a boat. I know it is illegal but if people are drinking on the boat and the captain is not and completely sober, can he still be issued a ticket for allowing it? I heard a guy got nailed for "allowing" his wife to drink on their boat. $300 fine. Is that true?
Thanks
