    From Ontario Regulation 611  https://www.ontario.ca/laws/regulation/900611

    (3) The steering column, other steering components and the handlebars shall be inspected and tested and,

    (a) the steering column, other steering components and handlebars shall not be loose in their mountings to the body and frame;

    (b) no bolt or nut shall be loose or missing from a mounting;

    (c) steering shaft couplings and splines shall not have excessive play;

    (d) if fitted, the steering column energy absorbing section shall not be visibly damaged so as to reduce its effectiveness; and

    (e) no part of the handlebar shall exceed a height of 380 millimetres above the uppermost portion of the operator’s seat when the seat is depressed by the weight of the operator.

    380mm = 14.96 inches... So yes, you were pretty much bang on!

    Sweet, thanks Sean!

  2. My stove is saying there is a fault and when you turn it on to "bake" it turns the broiler on and gets super hot. I have unplugged it and plugged it back in and after that it worked fine a few times but has f'd up again. Have you ever heard of that and if so, easy fix or should I buy a new one. Its about a 5 or 6 year whirlpool.

    Thanks man!

    My wife tells me I was born to burn gas, trucks, boats, sleds.... gas is just an incidental cost of the enjoyment. The day I leave the boat at the dock or the sled on the trailer because of concerns over the cost of gas is they day I quit living.

    Ya, no doubt, you are a wild man!

  4. This thread hurts my head to read.  I don't know how you guys can go on for so long about this. I have a 11 etec and if I've gone 100 miles, Im looking for gas.  I don't like running it down that low.  I'm sure it will go maybe 130 but no way 200 miles.  Last year riding with my buddies 2012 1200 renegade, I was 10 litres less at each stop. Mine is a short track.

    Well,  wife thinks its for me and telling her co-workers that her husband is going through a midlife crisis.  I said you just noticed.

    No, its for him, but I will be sure to drive it.

    Its hard to argue against that.  If you paid 40K for the truck and decided to take the zero financing and zero down and then took the 40K you were going to use to pay for it and invested it at a 10% tax efficient ROI.  You use your cash flow to make the payments.  In 84 months you would have an additional 40K or 30K after taxes.  There is little chance you will not end up ahead.  The issue is the zero% financing doesn't do much for you unless you are applying a strategy like this.

    I just ordered a 2017 Dodge Challenger SRT for my son and they did not have a zero financing offer at the time so I've decided to pay it outright when it arrives in 5 or so weeks..

     You bought your kid that car??  How old is your son? Wtf did I do wrong
