Took motor homes towing boats down that road to Hillock every May long weekend in the early 90's. Found the cabins and went there for ice fishing and sledding for years.
Probably 10-15 years since I was last there.
Lyn ever show you his beaver balls that he sells to the perfume company's?

Highwind lake bear camp. Log cabins (3) on the lake . Fucking remote. Fucking awesome. Fucking beyond excellent atv/ sled area
love that place. Lyn (think that's his name) was a cool guy. Nice log cabins too.

So an adrenalin model has 1970 steering geometry? WTF
Thought they all came with the rack except for the summits
-
17 x package short track.
I do need to shorten the front limiter as I cant turn while under power but I have done a lot of corners where I carry the inside ski 6-8 inches off the ground through bumps with no sawing at the wheel. Set it and forget it. Kinda surprised when you said bump steer. Now I'm going to be thinking about it every time I go riding now. LoL
-
I haven't really noticed any bump steer. I wonder if it is the ski profile causing you to saw at the wheel a bit.

I think he said he got the Rev X Faggot Dildo seat model in Black......8.50"

2600 miles thats about where my buds sled started to blow belts. Heard he got the grip n rip clutch tools see how it goes.Sounded like it needed quite a bit of shims to get it squared up
-
it seems to be pretty docile until about 6500 and then it starts to get a bit of an attitude. LoL
-
I could beat 780's with my XC700 LoL
My 850 would eat my XC for breakfast. I do have the short track I think it makes a big difference in overall performance over a renegade

because your an idiot. completely and totally. Just an observation

fucking doo eats belts pretty quick. You have to stay on top of it or the belt is sitting low after 100-200 miles and runs like shit.

That cop is a piece of shit deserves to be fired
If that cop had shot a black guy, a few on here would be blaming the victim.
Or if that was a video of brown civilians being shot or bombed. There would be zero outrage and a few jokes.
You could watch humans living in squalor in refugee camps and not flinch, children in cages or hear about them dying in US custody and not give a shit
You people get more worked up about dogs than people
The world is a fucked up place.
rev your a fucking idiot. Really

I get 116 mph on my recall but I have a 129 track
If the belt is a bit worn and sits low in the secondary it will not pull big top end numbers and will suck out of the hole as well

I used this recipe
https://ilovemeat.com/homemade-bacon-part-1-cure/
so next question do you cold smoke like this guy says or do you take it up to 150 deg when you smoke it?
-
Ok just got me a pork belly and want to make me some bacon.
Looks easy enough. Anyone got a good basic recipe? is pink salt required?
-
Just looked at the STM tool.
Same concept but they dont preload the clutches.
Preloading is the only way to ensure under load alignment using the stock engine mounts. If you want to put solid mounts in then preloading is not needed.

just found out about this thing.
I know 4-5 people with 850's not sure if they got one or not. Got to make a couple of calls
-
not sure if they would offer up that info or not.
If you had one you could press it on a scale to find out
-
yes. That's what I was kinda thinking. Calibration is very close. Fine tuning only but no point if it just eat's belts.

Etec? It worthless to start messing with components if you have an alignment issue
Huh?
clutch issue not engine
-
My belt gets pretty hot when maintaining a 80 mph+ speed. I dont think it's a clutch calibration thing. I get a lot of belt wear on the primary faces and to me that is alignment.
hell if it saves one belt it almost pays for it's self. These 850's like to destroy things when a belt goes boom.
do you know what the spring rate is on this kit? It's 3/4 inch preload but what does this convert into in lb's
-
On my old sled I would put a ratchet strap around the clutches and crank it up. I would set the torque stop and get alignment pretty much perfect.
Could probably do it on the 850 but I think matching the load deflection with the load spring is the ticket for accuracy.
-
So the pre-load clutch tool is the ticket for 850 belt life?
I have an 850 never blew a belt yet but it does get a hot belt, just a matter of time before it blows.
watched the video everything makes sense to me.

I hope you're prepared to argue. Neal will never relent. Even though he can't quantify his position he still thinks lug height makes a difference. If lug height made a difference in the drive ratio it would be measurable. It's not measurable, just like axle and jackshaft twist isn't measurable.
ya I know. but just felt like arguing a bit HaHa
probably done now though but we will see

That's my buddy on the 51. Lagoy pulled a similar move last year and got booted.
Does it again this year. Some guys get vapor lock out there and loose thier minds.
He is just lucky that move never got anyone hurt.
