Why is he a Karen when he points out issues in our manufacturing economy?

I prefer to buy parts made by my friends and neighbours, but it is becoming far more difficult to do so.

I bought a used Kubota tractor a couple years ago. It’s well built, Japan is one of our solid allies and the dealer close to me had already served me well on other machines.

I avoid Chinese shit as much as I can.
My industry has gone down that road. It will pay the price of cheap vs quality.

I see that daily. Poor quality Chinese components.

At least I’m just the guy fixing it…the anger can go towards the manufacturers.

How old is the Kubota? That may be American made.

I'm self-employed so I'm a POS to banks anyways. I know if I want to buy anything that requires a loan, I will need to put down 35%.

Need to be creative. Im self employed and I bought my home with $100 down.

I’ve had the same credit card for 25 years. That’s probably what’s holding me back. Zero debt and one lonely credit card. Now a Home Depot card.
6 more cards and I’ll have perfect score.

Pretty much . I stopped paying in full and leave 8-10 $ a month on them and it went up.

I've never checked mine. Why would I want to know?

Because if you use credit and your a 775 . may want to boost it above 800. There are many offers to people with a score above 800 that are not offered to others.

Talked to some colleagues last week and there’s a major purge in the SSDI program. First time in numerous years. There’s also new rules going into effect that tightens requirements. Approvals have been cut almost in half. Seems like the gravy train is ending for some.

good , about time . Maybe the days of a 15 yr old having his parents sign him up because he has adhd and then staying on it for life will end.

I think that you are thinking about Riverside Speedway just north of Lancaster in Groveton.

A friend and his son that @Angry ginger and I used to ride with used to race there. They probably still do as the last I knew they were both still involved in racing.

yep, thats it. Ive never been

The electoral college is going no where. As it shouldn’t. Without it the country would cease to exist.

Exactly, it is what keeps people outside of cities involved.

As a kid we used to go to Beach Ridge Speedway in Scarborough, ME for the most part. I went to Lee once or twice and Bryer's Motorsports Track in Loudon several times before it was scrapped for the Magic Mile.

Hudson , lee ans star is where we always went. Everytime Im up north in summer I think about going to Lancaster.

  10. Cool for him. There are centurians everywhere but when you look at groups of people who tend to live longer then most, it appears those residing in high altitude areas get the win.

  11. Some folks are being left out of this economy. Yes it is booming for many. For others it is just dropping them down further.

I was working in Concord mass the other day ( ya know the whole lexington concord , start of the revolution thing)

Customer I was talking to just moved in last yr. Medicore home. in historic district , could be nice but hasnt been remodeled in 50 yrs.

They paid 1.6 million for it.

It is quite obvious that any firefighter or teacher that works in that town can not afford to live there.

  12. Southern NH still has a few along with one up north. When I was a kid pops took me about once a month.

    ALways loved motorsports.

You could strap a gas motor to a turtles ass and I would watch em race.
