Or there was a stack fire possibly from one of the diesel generators blowing up??

Either could be true although heavy throttle inpute would definitely be happening right about then.

There should be a river/harbor pilot on board which kind of makes me think there was a mechanical failure and the ship lost its steering and auxiliary steering?

There was a pilot on board.

Looks like there were a couple instances of power failure on the ship.

There were two instances caught on video, perhaps more over all. Clearly they had electrical issues.

Bit surprised ships of this size didn't need mandatory tug escorts for this reason alone.

How long before it hit the bridge did it lose power?   Did it not have a chance to drop anchor?

They had escort tugs but the tugs were released before this occured.  As for the anchor usually the anchors are kept ready to deploy for just such an emergancy. It seems as though this happened so quickly that the anchor deployment was too late to be of any real benefit. I want to get more information on the anchor deployment, they may have been late on that or maybe they just didnt have time. Im not 100% positive.

Alot of guys here very clearly never have a friendly in person debate with people they disagree with. You can tell because they actually don't know what the people they disagree with believe in.

If that's how one goes thru life and they don't see anything wrong with that, well..............

Most people here dont even understand what is they themselves believe in.

I though our court system was full of fuckery.

The Karen's of Ottawa have a 300 million dollar lawsuit against the anti lockdown protestors.

No lawsuits have gone forward for native blockades, church burnings, BLM shutting down roads or pro Hamas maggots closing bridges.

Just peaceful, mostly the white working class getting sued.

How would that even work? "Anti-lockdown protesters" didnt exactly keep membership lists and a sign-in sheet.
