No racing here in Locktario. The local track I usually head to was sold last fall and the new owners have invested good money into updates. They hope to run a race on June 26th but it doesn't look like they will be allowed to put fans in the stands until well into summer.

My buddy is racing motocross at Gopher dune's today. It's close to Tillsonburg. I don't think any fan's are allowed in. Also you can't visit other racer's pit's, you have to stay at your own.

I ended up getting some sleep last night. Today was pretty hot but I made it through the day so I'm okey.

Damn that sucks.  I've had that issue when I have alotta stress or too much going on at work.  Is that a factor?  I got diagnosed with sleep apnea a year ago, and have been on a Cpap machine just recently.  I also cut way back on the booze which also helped.  I fall asleep quickly and have been way better rested.  I like it.  So good luck man.

Do you like background noise? My biggest problem is I am a light sleeper so I hear everything bump and creek in the night. Years ago I purchased a sound machine with various, mostly nature sounds to drown those out. It took a bit of getting use to but once I found the sound I liked, it made a huge difference.

I ended up getting about two hour's sleep. I was a wreck today at work. I'm a very light sleeper. I have my air conditioner on at night to drown out other noises and to keep my room cool. I hope to get some sleep tonight or I'm screwed. It's supposed to be another hot one tomorrow.

I have an awful time trying to get any sleep. I've been in bed since 9 pm. All I've managed to do is toss and turn. I have to getup at ten to five for work and it's going to be a scorcher tomorrow.

It was announced here that the cop's won't be pulling people over without a reason. A cop blew by me on the highway this morning and didn't bother me.

I nodded off for a bit and woke up to basketball as well. Yes it was rained out. Race resumes tomorrow at 4 PM.

I haven't worn Jean's in close to 30 year's. I found them to be way too hot to wear. I got severe heat rash around the waist so I stopped wearing them.

I tweaked my knee somehow last night. I just went outside for a short walk to see if it's any better. Nope, so back to stretched out and relaxing and hoping it gets better so I can work Monday.

They walk among us!  Had an “acquaintance” of mine come to me when he couldn’t get his car to run after he changed the oil.  After the common questions, I opened the hood and noticed oil all around the valve cover.  I just figured he was sloppy and didn’t have a funnel or something.  So, I pulled the dipstick...a few times....wtf?  I asked how much oil he put in, he said, “I topped it off”.  14 quarts!  

 

A guy here stuck a funnel in his 81 camaro and was dumping oil in it. We were standing far enough back to see a huge puddle forming under his car. Turn's out he was trying to add oil through his dipstick and the funnel missed  the hole and the oil was pouring all over the ground. We had a good laugh.

I thought Larson had that race in the bag.
