  1. You all crack me up. Everything we do to generate energy has a trade off as to how it negatively affects the planet. The battle so to speak is which one affects it the least. From having to look at a forest of gigantic windmills and fields of solar panels, to mines of coal and lithium, to nuke plants and radioactive waste and dams that redirect water and change the landscape, who's to say long term which ones better than the other. The only thing that's ever going to "save" this planet is if we all leave it in one form or another.

You also realize that oil companies are

making record profits and really don’t

GAF about what you and I pay at the pump…right?

I do and we will be in the same boat with the power companies when ev's are the mainstream. You don't think they wont do the same thing. Point is in a free market that's what you get. Tell me how government policy doesn't effect the oil industry.

Someone tell the chain mail king the oil industry is privately owned.

Unless he’s for a government owned oil industry…..naaah republicans wouldn’t want that now right?

Well shit. I didn't know the government didn't have anything to do with the oil industry. No influence or control whatsoever. You heard it here. They can drill as much as they want wherever they want. Drill baby drill........

The state of the union is that we are fucked. Maybe some day we will stop this tit for tat style politics and get  something done.

Keep talking like that and you're going to end up in the same padded room as Putin.

Biden or someone has to give Putin a way out of this while still saving face. He's humiliated. Not good.

It cant be at the cost of Ukraine and the Ukrainian people, but I agree if he's cornered he will lash out.

Really think he gives a fuck ?

Plenty of counterys will still need the fuel Russia has and America wants to eliminate.

Don't care if he does or not, but it's been reported that one of the reasons he attacked Ukraine was the implication that Ukraine would become a NATO member. He doesn't want NATO on any of his borders. So yeah my guess is he gives a fuck.

  7. Add Sweden and Norway to NATO. It strengthens NATO's position and becomes another thorn in Putin's side. He needs to know there are consequences to his aggression regardless of the outcome in Ukraine.

The inept fool in the White House and those in the EU aren't the ones who made Vlad's amazing blunder. There's several bad moves that he made. He failed to prepare the Russian people for war. He believed that Ukrainians were somehow like family because he lives within the past of a failed union. He grossly underestimated the world's response. He's been planning this move since 2014 and there's nothing that would've stopped him short of America and the EU acquessing to his demands which changed by the hour.

Interesting. Didn't know all that. I still don't trust the Chinese.

Hmmmmmm. Forgot about all that. Might take a little longer to dispose of, unless I call in some help. I know some people.......

Read about it yesterday, pretty sure it's true,.

Formula 1 cancelled the Russian GP going forward. Haas dropped their sponsor that was a Russian company.

I would love to see the world's cyber community turn the tables on Russia's cyber assets as well as their partners in crime.
