funny i said to the CEO's admin the other day it's so nice that we social distance our cars out front.  There is maybe 30 people in the whole office building right now with 7-8 cars parked near each entrance and they were all with a space in between.

That is to prevent door dents not the CV from spreading.........

It was me that banned Jay. I  never take banning someone lightly, and I always give a warning before doing so.  I never had any issues with Jay and thought that we were friends.  He just didn't like me not taking his side on an issue he had with another member.  He wouldn't let it go and kept coming after me. At some point enough is enough.

He was way out of line. He deserved exactly what he got. The threats of physical harm were way over the line.

He can fuck off too. I read some shit about him, that makes me not give a rat's ass if he gets drafted or not.

Great stuff, Tom. Starting them young is the only way to go.

Off topic, but what do you recommend for a starting boat battery? I am leaning toward a dedicated Marine starting battery like an Interstate instead of a deep cycle or dual purpose one. My boat currently has 2 batteries but I only use the one for starting, nothing more. My other battery runs the radio, lights, fish finder and trolling motor.

I like this one, and I assume it would be cheaper than a deep cycle anyways? It exceeds the required CCA and CA of my engine and is the proper size.  https://www.interstatebatteries.com/products/24m-hd?productLine=marine&subcategoryKey=&ignorecategoryid=true

    Would appreciate your thoughts. :bc:

That group 24 battery should be perfect for your outboard.

I have dual marine batteries in the Toon.  They are Duracell Group 27 marine batteries I got from Batteries Plus. Not fancy or expensive  They are separated by a standard Perko marine battery isolation switch.  Outboard is connected to one and all the stereo and electronics are connected to the other.  I don't think the outboard really needs a marine deep cycle battery but I like the lug style terminal connections of a marine battery.

That's what it's all about. I consider myself very fortunate to have spent a lot of time on the lake during my childhood. As an adult I took it for granted and used the lake mostly in the winter as a way to access the snowmobile trails. There were a few summers that I never dipped my toe in the lake where we lived. Enjoy it Tom :bc:

The little guy on the tube is my 5 year old grandson.  I taught him how to swim last year when he was 4.  He has snorkeling gear and can swim completely under the Toon from one side to the other.  He was so excited to tube this year.  Right off the bat he tried to stand up and surf the tube.  Fell off a few times and wasn't even bothered by bobbing by himself in the water for a few minutes.  Hardest working little kid I have ever been around.  Every day he says to me: Grandpa, whats on your list today. What do we need to get done?
