Tesla system no idea what he paid probably a lot way more than it cost to just pay an electric bill for 30years with all the crap they’ve spent to have them. Tesla cars so guess saves on gas there. The solar wasn’t paying half their electric bill so they cut the trees I think it’s paying most of it now though. I laughed we you said no maintenance I see him rinsing them off once or twice a summer and I almost forgot about the time I watched him fall off his roof cleaning the snow off them lol. He has since got some foam rake thing he cleans them off with but even that takes him couple hours if we get dumped on.
Tesla uses string inverters. Shade 1 panel and the whole string goes down on production greatly. Literally a drop of bird shit on a Tesla panel will severely degrade production of like 8 panels. So much better and way cheaper options out there.

No because they pay at the pump.
Not somebody that makes their own bio diesel. Simple process really. Should those that make their own fuels have to pay taxes on it?
Fuel taxes don’t cover the cost of road repair, construction and maintenance currently. Fuel is not taxed enough to cover all the costs so lots of road funding come out of general funding and income taxes. Not index for inflation or fuel economy gains of our current autos.

I don't understand his constant wilful ignorance to ignore upfront costs and maintenance fees. It's fucking weird...and he still can't make the math work.
You have about as much maintenance on solar panels as I do. 😂
upfront cost are real but spread over a time. Typical takes about 5-6 years in Duluth to be fully paid for through avoid cost savings.

I’m good will things like toll roads. It the fairest. Mainly use fees that cover the cost entirity of what you use rather then taxation.

My neighbors the one that cut the trees and he has 36 panels and a power wall but still wasn’t getting enough to not have a bill so trees came down
10 trees. What was the bill on that? Probably increased his electric need by getting rid of the tree as well. Being a powerwall install he probably got Tesla solar. Jesus string inverter. 😂 no wonder he had shading issues

I know my sister inlaw in Cali has to clean hers all the time from the dust that collects on them to get best performance. My neighbor does theirs once or twice a year here and not to mention the 8-10 trees they cut down to get more juice from them.
They haven’t been cleaned except the very first year with a couple douchings with the garden hose. Rain and snow do a good job of cleaning them. The juice isn’t worth the squeeze when it comes to cleaning. Mother Nature handles it.
you sister in law and husband don’t seem the brightest bulbs on the tree. With what it cost to cut down those 10 trees and dispose of them they could have put a much larger solar array on the house. Cutting trees down will likely increase there electricity need for cooling especially being in the hot ass California.

is making your own diesel illegal? Some do off waste oil.Taxation is theft and extortion in my opinion as well as why this country was founded. Beta cucks are the ones that get behind taxing others.
how do you feel about those that violate emission laws and regulations? Say diesel deletes and def removal and Catalytic converter removals and any other emission equipment removal modification? Many of you fucksticks sure do love a police state.

So if you're not paying use tax for driving on the roads, how are you not mooching off the people that are?
To us constitutionalist and true conservatives and free society taxation is theft. Simple. Tolls on every road is what I can get behind but not taxation based on miles. Cause a gravel county road takes less to maintain then say a big city freeway or say a road in the rust belt where chemicals to melt ice and snow cost more.

So thank all the ICE owners for subsidizing your driving habits. And the federal level will come.
No not really. But I’m not a Democrat so I have never felt entitled to others money. I don’t get mad at people making their own bio diesel or using red dyed diesel and driving on public roads. In fact I would encourage it.

A co-worker bought into the DIY solar setup in Arkansas, After a couple years he doesn't expect to get ahead until 15-20 years, about the only advantage he sees is a hedge against higher rates in the future.
Mine is about 2-2.5 years from paying back. So 6-6.5 year payback.

Nice spin, and yes as of now you save on road tax, so you're kinda mooching off everyone else, and there's a reason they're trying to pass legislation to charge a per mile use tax on cars.
Not on a federal level. State level yes states are doing some talks. My registration is a bit more in my state vs gas. But I could drive in the 49 other states and not pay anything to them cause I pay my state. Probably 80% of my miles on the Tesla are in other states then my home state and I have paid those states $0
