Lots of people buying stuff and no signs of that slowing which means high interest rates will continue.

You can buy c8 z06 and a bunch of gm products with bitcoin. So if those pieces of shit have any value then of course bitcoin has value.

Hydrogen can’t be economically stored or reliable infrastructure to make it economical for auto transportation. But some will insist I guess to keeping people dependent on others for there transportation emissions. Good way to control people is have them buy energy

Actually Shell is more interested in Oil & Gas at the moment.
Divesting from hydrogen they are.

Meanwhile Shell throws in the towel on hydrogen and exits the business. Won’t be anytime remotely that you will be able transverse great distances with hydrogen powered autos in the US.

25% of the Texas electrical grid is wind. That’s an outstanding percentage. Gov Abbot is committed to renewables.
South Dakota get over 50% of its electricity use from wind and it became an exporter of energy vs an importer due to wind. The state without wind would be sending money out of state to buy energy but with Republicans such as Kristi Noem’s and farmers fondness of renewables they bring a bunch of money into the state selling powah.
-
US would be fucked without renewables since almost a 1/4 of the electricity the United States uses comes from renewables.
Renewables provided over 22.7% of US electrical generation in 2023, according to newly released end-of-year US Energy Information Administration (EIA) data.
EIA’s latest “Electric Power Monthly” (with data through December 31, 2023) reports that the combination of utility-scale and small-scale (e.g., rooftop) solar increased by 16.1% last year. Small-scale solar alone grew by 20.1% – faster than any other energy source. In December alone, small-scale solar increased by 21.4% while total solar grew by 30.7%.
As a result, by the end of 2023, solar was 5.6% of total US electrical generation. Small-scale solar accounted for 30.9% of all solar generation and provided more than 1.7% of US electricity supply last year.
Solar generation has now nearly matched hydropower (also 5.6% of the total) and should surpass it within the next few months to become the second largest renewable energy source, behind only wind.

I don't think anyone here is going to argue that.
Being in ag, how do I accomplish "clean air", if a government entity wishes to suddenly enforce their 2.5 micron pollution level?
I know that is not possible in a dry year, so I find it very easy that our government could go to war with me (or us) over some "made up" number, which may or may not be enforce equally.
Not sure if they are regulating dust from farm fields but every time I see the difference in equipment generated dust on no till vs tilling farming it’s a pretty big difference on what goes airborne. Any other pollution should be easy to control but have an expense to meet the standards I’m sure.
this was Salt Lake a few weeks ago. It’s disgusting when the weather doesn’t blow the pollution for the oil refineries else where. You could not see the mountains by the end of the day. You can definitely feel it in the lungs and breathing. This should be easily addressed and no brainer on fixing and everybody should be for fixing unless they think they have a right to pollute.

Hobbies are expensive and very important to people. Lack of retirement savings is just people making a decision to live their best life.
Just raise the retirement age for SS and maybe tax employers more for SS as well -
Clean air is good. Cleaner the better IMO

NY will be able to sell Trump’s real estate holdings to get money to throw at this problem.
-
200 billion??? Shit the US and Biden can’t even rid Russians from Ukraine for that.
-
Trump should have relocated his businesses out of NY when he switched from being a democrat to a republican.
look a Bezo’s, he is saving $600 million in just the next 2 years by moving to Florida from a blue state.
Trumps ego fucked him out of a skyscraper

Can’t keep doing business the same old way I guess. Mega auto company conglomerate coming to Europe to fend off Tesla and the Chinese automakers
Volkswagen, Renault, and Stellantis are weighing possibly joining together to make cheaper electric vehicles – fearing it’s their only option. The urgency is growing as European automakers are being far outdistanced by BYD and Tesla. “A business-as-usual approach is a losing option,” reports Bloomberg. Hmm, didn’t anyone get the memo sooner?

Why do we still need federal and state tax credits for EV's?
Very few models of the Current EV’s qualify for tax credit. Lucid has no tax credits available to individuals

The power outage that took BP’s refinery in Whiting, Indiana, offline for at least three weeks has delayed a potential price jump by dampening demand expectations in the immediate term.

Life after death.

Many live well beyond death in a physical space and many will selfishly occupy a small square plot where that land can’t be touch ever again. Maybe society in the future won’t give a fuck about that shit and get rid of peoples bones so they can use the land for better purposes.
