    My brother got a deserved ass beating and told my father he was going to call DCF.  Father told him it was going to be tough dialing the phone with broken fingers.  Family still jokes about this.  Kind of weird how you grew up to fear your father's wrath back then but later respected him.

    Raising my kids as a divorced dad I'm sure I did some things wrong but I did my best.  I was physical only a couple times (kicked my son in the ass and told him to get in his room once) and am reminded of it occasionally.  Never did it again as both my kids seemed to fear me for a week after that and I didn't want it to be that way. 

    Makes me think of the ass beatings I got (I think a lot of kids got) but how the rules changed for me and I was expected as a parent to explain to him what he did wrong and find an acceptable punishment to fit the crime.  Telling a child what they did wrong and smacking their butt was quicker and easier back in the day than what is expected of parenting when I did it.  Gen X'ers had to be more involved in their kids upbringing which was a struggle but was rewarding.

    You continuously try to include yourself as one that had it difficult or struggled but admit to having a BIL that took care of you and pretty much set you up for the life you live today.  Go ahead and talk about how tough your age group had it but don't puff your chest out and include yourself in the struggle.

    Another "I know what's right for the world" and have no respect for those that disagree.  Do you come up with all this daily crap on your own or is there someone in your family that is just as big an asshole that you admired and fed off of to get to the level that you're at? 

    I served but I don't validate it that highly because I'm not a combat vet or wasn't there during any conflict.  There should still be some respect for anyone that committed to time for his country.  You have the freedom to throw out a line like this but it just shows how hypocritical you are to the idea of the freedom you have to open you big, fat mouth and post stupid shit on a sled web site.  Holy shit, don't you ever shut up?

    Back to pizza...

    I'm simple... sausage, peppers and onion.

     

    Someone asked what else Connecticut has other than pizza...  Connecticut is a state with more thin people than a lot those fat, central states.  We got some decent looking women, not the fatties I see in these liberal protests holding their anti-abortion signs.  Or the one's in the battery-operated scooters at the grocery store trying to reach for a six pack of Mountain Dew on the top shelf.  

    We have decent schools.  Yes, we have Yale but we have a lot of other good universities all the way down to community colleges where people learn to spell and know the difference between your and you're unlike a couple dummies on this site.  We do have Walmart's so there are some morons living here but I've never heard of an all-out braul over a 40" flat screen at a Walmart in this state.

    We have a lot of dentists... know why?  People here go to the dentist.  Nothing worse than talking to some dummy with a mouth full of rotting, smelly teeth.

    I could go on and on... one good thing is most here don't waste the day on a sled site arguing about dick size.

    They do the same all over the neighborhood with eggs and vegetables, it make is convenient when I need a tomato to throw at the asshole neighbor's house. 

    The guy is from the city and thinks he can just come into our small town and do what he wants.
