I just don’t see the downside to having the 800 over the 600

Well unless it’s a poo or doo and the 800 simply wouldn’t stay together

but the 600 isn’t going to out corner the 800 and when you do get to the straights the 600 is toast

Some people don't ride like the hounds of hell.

Some people are just out for a ride.

Some people have moved on from Ricky Racer.

Conversely, people who ride 600s need to accept except in rare instances, they will be sucking hind tit a lot of the time.

After being witness to this last year, I slowed down somewhat....

Maybe the insurance company f'd up, and thought your brother-in-law was you?  Anyone capable of wrecking at 15mph would definitely be a higher premium to pay!

I remember Rev Doos would fold the 'Nun' (I think that what it was) if you just caught a rock or bridge edge the wrong way.... at less than 15....

It doesn't, but some on here think if you buy a 600, your not a sledder. I personally dont care what you, or anyone rides.

Like I said.... it's why I don't usually don't get into the keyboard racing scene.

Conversely there are those who think a Sidewinder will suck hind tit on trails that aren't laser straight. Asinine...

I almost bought one,  but had a buddy get one, He did the external add on tank and a bunch of auspenaion shit. He still hated it . He bought a XCR Axys shortly after that sled.

I did nothing but add a header and Hindle exhaust and a PC V.

An avid DOO rider borrowed it one weekend we were out and caqlled it one of the funnest sleds he ever rode.

A friend of mine bought a new 2008 Nytro shorty….damn thing was evil.😂

    2008s were.

Yamaha changed some things and smartened them up... it was the 2011 model I believe.

No one left here to ask except Wolfie, but I was within the front half of the pack at all times.

Buying a 600 because it is more than fast enough.

More than fast enough for you.

I normally don't get into these stupid conversations, because it's like a speed skater dissing a hockey player.

You like to ride slower and on twisty trails. That's great. The trails around here are just like that and I enjoy them.

Elsewhere the trails are long and fast with sweeping turns that you can fly over. And I enjoy them.

Neither is better than the other, neither is worse, they are different.

The rub comes when a person chooses one, and tries to assert they alone have the ability to make that determination, and which sled is better.

Does my Sidewinder make me a bit tired on twisty trails? Yep, sure does. Does a 600-650 suck wind trying to keep up in The County? Sure as hell does.

The question is, what fucking difference does it really make?

Everyone of us would out ride you. Our trails are curved. Not that boring ass railroad grade.

    We have both.

What is it about high speed that makes you queef?

It is if you are smart with your money. More money for gas and beer after riding.

I don't drink, and riding would hardly break the bank...

I call BS on that poll. No way that 80 % of the NH voters would vote for Trump. Even 8 in 10 republicans would be a stretch IMO.

What it says is, 80 of Trump voters are locked into their decision, and would not change their vote.

Only 27% and 47% of DeSantis and Haley voters would not change their votes.
