No, I will admit, I can't take the cold like I use to so that definitely has something to do with it. :bc:

Yeah my dad is not a cold lover anymore and can't handle like he used too. He was also bitching it was to hot in Jamaica where he spends half the winter.

My zipper is covered by a magnetic flap that works fairly decent, imo. I run my e shield cord under it and it still stays closed. It's a strange one for sure and I thought once I got my Tek Vest, my problem would disappear but it hasn't.

I I'm fucking sweating bullets when I where the trek best and to many layers on. I dunno IRV maybe its age, I kid I kid.

Yeah, I got that but was curious what your thoughts were of wearing something similar/same underneath a jacket? Like I mentioned, I assume that would likely cause me to get too hot then sweat?

I haven't tried the Merino wool clothing from MWWH but have used, the past few years, their Dri-Wear stuff with decent results. The last few years, although nothing has been real cold out during that time, I've just stuck with just the Dri -wear, a thin turtleneck then a heavier sweater and it has worked out fairly well.

When I bought my FXR suit I honestly thought being cold would be a thing of the past dressing normally underneath it but that wasn't the case. My legs are never cold but they are never in the wind like my chest is. I could never figure out how those with the real small windshields never got cold but yet I did wearing the same gear?

No it wouldn't make a good insert to a bigger jacket. FXR does sell more dedicated jackets for under a heavier coat. My fxr is a 2 in 1. It could be a bit of wind getting into your jacket through the zipper.

We usually wait till the TMSC opens up their trails before we head out from here. I just did a little run on the trail behind us to check it out and it has set up pretty good.

Lots slowly opening up east of my camp now. Pumped to get up there tomorrow. :bc:

I have actually thought about getting a windbreaker jacket to wear underneath my coat to help block the wind but I'm afraid it will make me too hot?

Like I mentioned earlier, I've tried a bunch of things and have it now where it is a lot less cold than what it use to be but on some fairly cold days, I still feel it in my chest.

It's frustrating as my everyday coat that my wife paid $60 dollars for at Sears some years ago provides better wind protection than what my much more expensive FXR jacket does.

The wind breaker I'm talking about is just a lite wearing out from the house to truck to store kinda jacket.

For really cold days I layer good with a good merino wool long sleeve, sweater and a big fleece pull over. Never an issue to -25/-30c. Even I'm not interested in riding under those temps these days unless I have to.

I’m guessing y’all ain’t ready for the theory on how Trump got elected and it’s connection to Nikolai Tesla, Trump’s uncle John, remote viewing, Project Looking Glass and using something called the yellow cube and how it originally had Hillary winning.

No I'm definitely ready to hear that drunk and stoned for sure.

I'd like to see you convince us nooks over a few beers in March why someone would shell out money for a cat.  That is what I struggle with to understand!!!!!1111

Nah man we don't need to go there. Let's keep it to absurd but somehow somewhat believable theories and hoaxes.

Morning! I'm looking into a snorkel kit and pontoons for the sled lol. The rain is brutal here and doesn't seem to be letting up anytime soon

Yeah its fucking ugly. Sounds like a river in my sump pit. Looks to get ugly for us in a few hours, I'm just heading to get gas for my gennies and help a buddy get his started.

I am done with shorties, the 137's just do everything better. I have jumped back and forth on the same models in different lengths and it is immediately noticable how much better the 137" is. I would even argue about the tight turning being better on shorties, I am just not seeing it. And I own and have owned both.

My 128 2.52 for the win. The 137 indy feels pretty damn nice but it got beat by my XCR and had more break in miles.

Yes , but they aren't as good as the MXZ and Renegade XRS    The CMotion rear skid is not even close to being as good as the RMotion.

Yea, I ride with someone who has one

It was tippy in the corners but he rode it pretty damn well I will say. Wasn't enough snow to see what it could do off trail. Definitely comparable to an SBA for sure.

Oh no, not even close and we ride hard and the guy that owns this xrs is one of the fastest riders I know. He only used about 80% or less gas than us at fill ups. We would put in 10-11 gallons and he would put in 8. We check too.

I'm talking the BCX the xrs guy was riding back of the pack most of time so he definitely used less. I had 2 bars left and the BCX had the light flashing.
