that would be the tuners fault . most would guess a old doo guy who thought they knew about clutching but then they found out paying a dealer for a new belt was not clutching
Rebuilt several of the clutches. Broken sheaves and spyders are tough rebuilds when some of them like the t660 clutches were only sold as a complete clutch.
Can't decipher the rest of you're jibberish.

Ill play along.
2000 zr 700- dad gave it to me with 7500 miles on it lots of recoil work and new clutches put on. Biggest gas and oil pig ever. Had the buddy tank in it and still struggled to get 90 miles running hard. Put a hole in the case with 10k miles on it the second season I had it.
2002 zr 800cc- bought it off a friend 10 years ago for 2k with 2500 miles on it. Put 4k trouble free miles on it and sold it to a friend and he needed a rebuild at 8k miles. Still rides it today.
2004 700 sabercat lx- I got after 1 season and 2800 miles on it and he hated the 13.5" track. I put 2k on it and it blew the oil line off and needed a top and bottom end.
2005 t660- dad bought and put 18k miles on and small issues like axle bearings and jackshaft failures at 5k miles. New fuel pump at 12k miles. Sold it a few years ago.
2005 t660 st- bought myself used with 2k miles. Put 16k miles on it and it stuck a valve and needed a rebuild. Sold it to the same friend and he still rides it too.
2014 ZR 7000- starter motor at 600 miles, cracked oil reservoir at 2k miles, cracked chaincase at 4k miles, primary clutch at 5k miles. Sold with 6k to a friend.
2017 ZR 8000- 4600 miles with zero issues rather then just being a dog.

I found the heavy springs to be too firm. I put the softer ones on and now it rides amazing.
There is standard, HD and extra HD. The HD are definitely not to harsh on the Indy.

I have both
So much plusher and once I throw a gas caddy and linq bag on you would really need them.

If I get one it will be an xcr or Pro S Switchback with the pro xc rear suspension. I am keeping the assault because it is just so awesome.
Mines so much better now that I got HD springs they should have had in the first place. Polaris is footing the bill nonetheless.

Check out HCS...Krom and Zdumbfuck are creaming themselves over supposed 850 issues.
And the stupid fuck try's saying you have no life. Sits at home with a couple mutts and cats all day fucking around on forums and FB pages. Don't come much more pathetic then that.

My bud is a service manager for a Polaris dealer and he said they have only seen one. But he also said Polaris will ship a brand new short block and add a year of warranty if it does blow. So would be good to get one and blow it up on year 3, get a new one and some more warranty!
The 20s are fine. Just temp sensors going to shit and shitty stock rear springs.

In Ontario you pay tax (13%) on what the government thinks it's worth and if you don't like it, you can pay a shop to appraise it and then you can pay 13% on what the shop says it's worth. It's absoulte garbage.
No you don't. I've wrote BOS and had them written for me for whatever is somewhat reasonable. They dont look at book value for anything but vehicles.

I got most of it off. I'm going out with a buddy at 10am for a ride and if we end up in a town that has a carwash I'll power wash the tunnel
She's a bit chilly. I'm waiting to load the sled and truck till it warms up a bit. Beautiful brisk day.

We've gone thru small creeks over the years but nothing like that one. We ride where we were all the time but have never gone thru that little trail. At least I know I can go play in there in the spring with the sxs if I want mud
Yep fuck mud on a sled. I can handle a bit of water and slush.

As good of a storm we got here in Maine, we really need another melt then another storm so the light fluffy stuff settles and hardens, and another foot comes down. It snows almost constantly up in the hills so we should be good in a couple weeks. Saw a big ass Moose too yesterday. He was gone before I could get the phone out. Around 900 ish miles so far this season. Could be worse, one of our riding buds spent 40 hrs in the woods and had to get rescued because they got their Timbersleds buried in a ravine. Hard pass on that experience.
The snowfall then melts here have made a perfect base and any snow that comes now will only add to it. I'm at like 930 for the season. Relaxing next weekend then the first weekend/week of February we have a 1200 mile bagger planned out.
I read and saw pics and wondered if you guys knew them. Then I read your bro's post this morning. Crazy shit and glad they are all ok.

We put 100 miles on yesterday and the worst ride fkn ever. There were only 4 sleds and the guy leading takes a narrow trail that nobody had been on. We barely made it thru a water/mudhole almost 30ft long 2ft deep after the ice got broke open. After that it was 3 more small water spots. The fkn goof said it was groomed the day before. I called him a fkn idiot and spent a couple hours in the garage trying to de-ice and clean the mud off
Not fun. No water holes up here on any of the trails marked open. Found some small creeks on a couple short cut trails I take but nothing serious luckily.

How far west to you go.
Turning around behind the camp was the furthest west I went. East to Kearney and south and north of there were good to excellent.

What neck of the woods are you again, Reeve? Glad to see some decent amounts of snow on the ground.
Camp is outside Sprucedale. A bit north west of Huntsville.

The most tremendous day
Today's tremendous too. 8" or more of fresh snow this morning, groomed trails with 2-4" of fluff ontop. Football back at the camp later. Everyone coming home is nice!

Aw fuck man danimal and I absolutely shredded this shit yesterday, I have a snow hangover today. Joined up with 2 blokes on cat 600's bout 1pm and proved that 600's just can't keep up with 800's. We'd stop and pee out the 6-7 beers we drank waiting for them to catch up. Passed everything that was in front of us, got lots of middle fingers and Shakey fists. Ended the day with a dynamite Delmonico and some new York cheesecake. Great fucking day. Polaris axys ftmfw!
Sounds like a good day.

Fucking love it. Got it dialed in perfect now.

Awesome day on great trails for the weather we've had lately. Snowing like a son-of-a-whore right now. Close to 800 miles for the season.
