Ya.  They haven’t really made there way over here from China and they are a bit more expensive which will reduce the importers market and audiences bit.  Doubt the importers of these would make as much moneys they do on the gas ones they are selling.

I honestly didn’t know they made one till a couple weeks ago.  It was a combo deal electric/ plus something else?  Not sure the make?

  2. Talked to a trucker this week.  There is still wheat from Poland coming into Albany and being trucked down here to Ardent Mills.  It's been going on since last fall, and will continue until the fall of 2025.

:bigfinger:to that shit.  This kinda shit has to stop.

How did they fleece me?.... Virtually everything was covered under warranty except the battery... Thousands and thousands of dollars covered for the tranny and flywheel issues...leaking differential and electrical issues  that it took them days to "diagnose" and I still had problems after that... The battery was always at a state of low discharge from something.. I was actually starting to like the loaner cars better than my own... I was getting so used to them.    Absolute JUNK .

Never again... current car is head and shoulders better and much, much less to maintain.  Easy Change oil and fill with gas, that's it ......no worries to change Brake fluids, differential fluids and filters etc. at ridiculously low mileage/time intervals.

Pretty sure that's what my 06 had. They had to set the rate of charge for the new battery..  .

yup and definitely not for the faint of heart or short tempered.   I wanted to take a sledge hammer or explosive to that POS all the time.:lmao:

Are you on the road yet to attend the rally?

any vehicle in the rust belt for sure, corrosion is a huge issue for the chassis and suspension.  but there's also a f'load of people driving around out there with steering/suspension, brake, tire issues that either don't have a clue or don't GAF.  at least commercial vehicles get DOT inspected.

I'd wager the vast majority of Americans couldn't change their own oil if they had to.  some don't even know how to add windshield washer fluid... no joke.

Oh yeah this day and age, absolutely.

Fucking boomers and millennial cocksuckers anyhow....

there's no safety inspections here, but imo there should be.  lot of folks driving around in death traps that shouldn't be on the same road with your family or mine.

if anyone needs an example click the link and watch a few of the videos.

Me personally, my own vehicles, I want shit looked over and safe.  There was a good reason why pa cracked down, other than a money grab.  These lick em and stick’ms around here were passing vehicles with rotted frames and such.  Problem I had, they went overboard with it and went after things like tiny rust holes in bumpers and fenders, disregarding the fact that the frames were solid, tires were adequate, and brakes were in tolerance.  That was my biggest beef. But, it all started with shit that shouldn’t have been on the road, that’s what initially got the ball rolling.

It’s just crazy that a god given right to protect oneself and have the means to do so has to be defended. It’s just fucking crazy.

Haha ....yeah NJ went from being very strict, crack in window, rot(sharp edges), headlights not aimed correctly, brakes, tire tread would all fail ....too passing anything except check engine light.....I now go through with super loud exhaust shaking the inspection building and no Cats with no problem.  Took my other car with headlight out and still passed.  It's become a joke but no complaints :bc: ..... but  will have to come to an end soon with my move .

Pa used to be very lax, but something changed.  A couple years ago, there was an inspection Nazi running around this area checking vehicles in gas station parking lots for inspection stickers and conditions of said vehicle.   Let’s just say, a few small mom and pop garages had their inspection licenses confiscated.  Friends of mine were pissed after that because garages became pretty strict.  Told them wtf, it’s there livelihood!  The last thing they need is to lose their license just to give you a break on your inspection.  It ain’t their fault the state became money-hungry.

So it's not just in or breaking. Year later, lots of talk and no evidence.

true, but it's a real good possibility, that the powers at be looking for it, have already looked at it, and turned a blind eye for a reason.

my question always is, why has it taken so long for individuals to come forward?  Nobody can tell me they don't know the meanings of right and wrong from day one of when they witness this stuff.  So why wait years, and then decide to go straight to a national media source?  Were they protecting themselves maybe?  Riding some gravy train until the gravy ran empty?  Not sure there can be much merit left with a human being like that.

This goes for any side btw.

Overemployment is what I see.  Everyone is hiring.  More jobs than people that want to work.

Just look at the state highway department.  Takes a crew of 6 fucking people now to change a sign along the road.

How do they make the decision on who gets to hold the wrench and who gets to play with the ratchet I wonder?

  11. I just witnessed 5 mehiconos fully install a new roof on a tall, hard-pitched two-story house on Sunday morning in 4 hours flat.

The white boss stood on the ground watching the whole time.  The most strenuous job he did was drive the van that day.  This is where we’ve gotten to now, and it ain’t gonna change.
