Was watching late night news with Shanon Bream last night....she had Jim Jordan on. Apparently there are a lot of distorted cherry picked statements in this "hearing".....they totally edited out Jim's first sentence quoting Ruth Bader Ginsberg and made it seem like it was Jims own words rather than RBG.

What a Schiff Clown Show....this whole anti-Trump presentation should be disregarded.

The only reason for this its that they will try to push so Trump can't run for office ever again. They impeached him twice and the more they try to play this narrative they will lose free thinking people. Biggest concern is the same as last election. Voting integrity.  If that's not fixed there is no reason to bother anymore. Furthermore, that was the point of Jan 6th in the first place.

imo currently, I don't feel as though they're focusing on what actually happened on J6 itself as much as what led to J6, the big lie and those potentially involved in selling the lie.  what's interesting to me is not just who was pushing the lie but willing to break their oath to the constitution to see the lie to fruition.  there's some in Congress that are likely squirming while still pushing the lie.

guess we'll have to wait and see what DOJ does... which would involve 'defense'.

    Nice back peddle...........

Stop... Be serious for five minutes because you have a brain I've seen in action.

I loathe the Clintons and voted for Bernie in the primary in hopes she wouldn't get our states nomination... But did not vote for trump in 16 or 20, I also did not vote for Biden if it matters.

So, have you watched the testimony?

It's not testimony, It's a TV show with really bad actors for fuck sakes.

It is pretty efficient until 2600 rpm then starts dumping a full barrels an hour but it is fun at 35 mph

Looked it up, best range us about is about 900rpm. 720 miles. Of course it will take 70 hours to go that far. About 6 gph. Also, 2350 rpm is 37 mph. Not bad for 38,500 pounds. 2600 rpm is likely a spun bearing.

What's a daily fuel bill if you're travelling at an economical speed? Say 8 hour cruise?

Was about $13-1500/day coming up from Florida

A boat like that will never bee far enough from the coast to need such a book. Yachties typically don't venture too far offshore, takes too long to get to the bar. :bc:

stay fairly close to shore but did run it about 2500 miles last summer.

That’s such a bad ass boat...I was eyeballing a late 90s Sea Ray 500. I could see myself living on something like that half a year

it really is a nice set up. The earlier 50s were actually laid out a bit better but the newer one have much nicer interior materials. I spend 4-5 days in the summer working from there. It's pretty comfortable.

Nope....fought all last year trying to line up a mover and they all bailed. Talked to one guy this year and he wouldn’t commit so I decided to do it myself. I just bought a 34’ triple axle 18,000lb trailer and $1000 worth of boat stands. Gonna pack up a load of jacks and tools and get after moving it. Should be an adventure.

I have no doubt it will be an adventure. Got mine close just a few more details and she goes in end of next week all goes well.

Pick up the trailer a week from today and hopefully headed right to the boat to Jack it up and get it on the transport trailer. Hauling it back to my shop where it will go inside. Bottom paint and a wet sand for rest of Hull. All through hills and hoses replaced. Pumps rebuilt and both carbs rebuilt. New batteries and sumps and a thorough inspection  Likely won’t see water until spring of 2023.

Cool , have you been working on it already?
