As an AC owner I'll say it - AC lost their way and are working to get their mojo back.

You mean the Republican handicap
You lack understanding. By the way, how many dem seats at the state and nat'l level were lost this year?

I hope the republicans don't overplay their hands the way the dems did or they'll be in the same boat.

I don't know if he was the most racist President of all time but race relations have taken a big step backward on his watch. He squandered the opportunities he had to lead in this important area as our first black POTUS.

C'mon Slowrider...say it one more time -- "Madame President".

Those were the good ole days for sure. Just the sound.... As fast as those sleds were, the F1 twin tracker 340s handed them their lunch.

The class that was my favorite was Formula III back in the late 80's, early 90's with guys like Guy Useldinger, Mike Houle and Tim Bender to name a few. Those guys were fun to watch, the problem was with these teams running heavily modded 600+ cc's, the track could no longer hold the speeds these guys were running and they eliminated the class. It's never fun unless they're running on the ragged edge , man the sound of some of those triples was music to the ears.

I have been going every year and I've seen the steady decline firsthand - even the last 10 years. The death of oem stock class racing leaves you seeing some classes now with 3 or 4 entrants in a final. Champ440 numbers are down too - maybe 18 last year. Several top drivers now retired - luckily some good young drivers are racing. I think the TLR $$ is helping as is an effort to promote 120 class racing but the sport has been in serious decline.

Jan 20th. By then he'll have checked out of the 'hospital' and have started his healing process. Then he'll see the Donald inaugurated and will check right back in. I really thought he would stand up and own all the abuse he created and deserved but he seems to have lacked the strength and conviction to do that. Poor Slowrider.... bwahahahaha

So the Donald campaigned to the right and is already moving to the middle whereas BHO campaigned in the middle and immediately moved to the left.... go figure

#1 Bold: He's a demagogue that does not have the temperament to be POTUS .
Bold #2 Kasich would have a 5-7 point lead now with Ohio being in the bag.

The Congress will shrink the powers of the executive office tremendously if he wins, please remember this post if he wins
Vince we get it - you don't like Trump. However, the fact that many establishment republicans are uneasy with him or don't like him isn't news. Also, if he wins and Congress 'shrinks' the power of the POTUS -- well good - that would be great to see and an important step of reform in Washington.

On the economy BHO showed a lack of leadership but there was plenty of blame to go around - American voters included

This whole thread and topic is nothing more than a red herring taken from a page out of the clinton playbook. Pence didn't have to defend anything and he was smart to stay on point instead of getting sucked into these pointless diversions. He stayed on point and he made the Virginia governor look real bad. Trump needs to do the same - then if Americans decide that the biggest issues facing are country are things he said to Rosie O'Donnell or Miss Universe then so be it.

Where's the compelling talking points you referred to? Still, I'll cede the point that Trump is anything but conventional and no one should be shocked when this stuff happens. We will know soon enough.....

That is what Greg said, they lost some speed in the straights to the singles but the corners were just incredible.
ER used to have the F3 sleds vs the F1 twin trackers back in the day. 600s vs 340s. The F1 sleds were so much faster out of the turns the 600s could not run them down.
