I see you speak from experience....need to travel a little further now too, to the Timmie's shitter....

I believe a hand full of muslims protested at one school, that was the uproar when it was introduced....... Now these same students are still alive and have not ruined their life.
Personally I don't know anyone that is against the curriculum - since Doug has agreed now that GENDER should be apart of the plan what is the problem now I think the haters thought Doug was going to take out any reference to GAY or TRANS or WHATisIT....... They are going to be surprised. That nothing will change but some wording maybe to make is seem Doug is on the issue
I remember Doug saying his nephew age six told him he is learning about having sex simply not true but slogan man went with it. We know he didn't read one word of it
For some reason I recall a lot of parents complaining about the amount of sex ed provided to kids at such a young age when it was first released. Personally, I think it is the parents job when it comes to these lessons vs. the education system, but I am sure many parents are not educating their kids either.....

I should also mention I don't have natural gas. Need a cost effective heating solution.
I understand some of the cost savings with pole barn is you do not require a poured concrete footing below the frost line, so you save significantly on the concrete. Not clear on the best/cost effective way to insulate.
Use a tankless oil boiler to heat the radiant floor.....like a NTI.
I would go with spray foam for insulation.

Pole barn. In severn township it is a lot less hassle with permits to build one. My buddy's dad is building a 30x60 beside me as we speak. A lot less red tape to go through
That makes sense than...just to avoid the township hassle's as much as possible.....

Lost my long term storage facility. I am considering building on my property but not certain where to start. Looking at approx. 24x36. Needs to be high enough to fit an RV so probably 14ft ceiling.. I would like to keep above freezing, so insulated and heated. Not planning to use as a primary winter workspace, just parking RV and Sleds. Do you guys have experience with Pole Barn vs. traditional vs Steel, costs, pros cons etc?
thank you
I have always heard that pole barn is the most cost effective way, my brother built his this way a couple years ago.
Really not sure why it is cheaper, still pouring a concrete pad, has walls, insulation, windows, doors, etc.....
perhaps consider in floor heat when you build, at least get the pipes installed and install the rest later if you go down that path.

Slogan Man created the uproar about sex-ed and won on that and maybe 3 other slogans - no one cared before Doug said something
Math is hard to understand for many (non Asian lol) people, it has been and always will be. There is no magic cure
How selective your memory is. When the sex Ed curriculum first came out, it was not well received, but in typical liberal fashion, it was forced down your throat seeing as they what was best for you....
Switching back to the late 90's isn't the answer, but at least it's recognized to be an issue and need to come up with a happy medium.
And can you imagine the thought of asking the people you work for, for their input, crazy notion. ....crazy idea actually, but cudos for taking that approach.

learn to read if you don't like airbnb then say so
Yes POT is good - many here could use some to take that stanch-ness out
Maybe a little bit of POT and reading skills would be better .....but your grammar could use some work.

I went in the winter to baview wildwood a few years back and yes the train was obvious.
It is the wife(girlfriend) that doesn't want to cook, she want a real vacation...
Tree coverage really helps to insulate the noises.....winter noises tend to travel a lot more.
But not pets anyways....

You are not supposed to be able to buy gas furnace parts unless you hold a valid gas license. Suppliers will not sell parts around here unless you are a licensed gas fitter
Already stated, but you can, just depends on the retailer and who they will sell too.
Not a house furnace, but I have a Mr Heater gas heater in the garage, call tech support due a problem, we did some testing over the phone and they had a dealer from the Oakville area mail me the parts that I needed to replace myself to resolve the problem.
As for the house furnace, the parts should have a set warranty regardless of who installed it or what maintenance schedule you follow, so they will be covered under the manufacture parts warranty, you may need to pay the labour piece if you did a self install or did not follow the installers "recommended" maintenance schedule....
The furnaces pretty much tells you what is wrong anyways, or points you in the general direction with the diagnoses light and the number of flashes it does.

Last night was 2.5 hours of the whole ACC chanting "freddie" or "boston sucks"
Second game ive gotten down to this year and they played well and won both. Not to excited about the back checking.... that will have to tighten up if they are going to get through game 7 and try on the second round... Not to mention the silly turnovers
Their mistakes is where Freddy has saved their ass' on many occasions!

Lots if good team building going on in this series......coming back in the series, lop sided reffing (no surprise), goals taken back, etc...
Look at their first 2 games vs. the last two, they really stepped up to be able to compete with the Bruins. The last penalty kill was great, score could have been higher on both sides.
Game 7 should be interesting and I think could go either way easily......hopeful the Leafs come out on top!

That's awesome.
Have to agree, if that is not a glitch in the system, good on the local club for turning some Yellow for a day or two for pounding some dirt.

Glass is still half full, hoping for an attitude adjustment and they are able dig down and find the game they need to have in order to compete for all three periods.
Home games should give them that, IF they have it in them......than carry it forward.
I know, call me crazy.....but this hopefully is not the end, at the very least, give us a couple of games that show some promise....

x2....don't be lazy and dig a little bit further....
I am pretty sure wrapping the posts from ground level down is become more common....seen some fence posts lately that have some sort of sock or wrap that ends just above the concrete and above grade.
I think it was here, or maybe elsewhere that a guy went that same route through Home Hardware for a garage, maybe a house, and if I am not mistaken, had great reviews.
