That was an excellent race. Gutted for Herta though....Bad strategy from the team.
On to Mid Ohio & then Toronto - Can't wait!

What a badass car and look at that speed.👍🏼
Those were the days - 900HP and that sweet, sweet sound. The series is doing great today, but it will never be as it was in '90's/early 2000's.

I think that was his original plan, but that may have changed
My understanding is Grosjean is running a full schedule and Johnson will run road/street courses, but no ovals, TK is going to run those in his place. But as mentioned, things change and I could be wrong...
Either way, I'm glad to see racing is back after a long offseason

Yep, we used to use bottle caps as nail washers when putting tar paper around deer stands back in the day.
We would use them when working on demolition derby cars. Funny; there never seemed to be a shortage of them...

I've actually done that a couple of times with coins when I didn't have what I needed. Custom washers.LOL
Beer Caps work in a pinch too!

That's cool as fuck man! If you're allowed to snap some pics, please post them up!
X2 What he said!!!
How does it affect the drivers getting in and out of the car?
Like the bumper-ettes on the DW12, I guess we will get used to it.

Is the Swiss Inn going to reopen? when I drove by a month ago, it looked like someone was working on it.
Love the Bon Echo Loop!

Great Clip! Love those sequential gear boxes and how he is banging off those shifts. The cars just don't sound like that anymore.
Thanks for sharing.

I have a pair of 5.7's with Spindles and carbides. Black Loops. Came off a 2012 X package - Upgraded to Split Rails at the time so very few miles.
They are boxed up and put away, but I can get them down and take pics if anyone is interested.

He will run #7. Schmidt Peterson keeping the #6 reserved for Wicken's return.
Hinch of course in the #5 Car.

Similar instances at a couple of Ottawa area Ultramar Stations (Prescott, ON & Vars, ON)
Diesel came out of the Regular pump. The company came good for those impacted.....according to the news.

I appreciate that but I think you're a bit far, looking for GTA I guess.. up to muskokas/Niagara/waterloo at furthest.
No Worries! I'm sure you will find a pair in that area.
Cheers,

I have a set with spindles (Switched to Split Rails) from my 2012 Single carbide and black loops. They are used, but don't have many miles on them.
I can dig out the box and take some pics if interested....

Does anyone have any good recommendations for a shock rebuilder in Ontario?
Looking to freshen up all four shocks on my Ski-Dog X Package. If I do the back shocks, I figure the fronts should be done at the same time?
Thanks,

approx. 1" (3cm) in Ottawa area. they say 15cms....if so, it packed down quite a bit.

I think my wife got a perfect score on the test as well. So I give her the key to her Pontoon boat and of course she had no idea where it goes.
If you have ever watched Spongebob when he takes the boater written/practical test, that is her in a nutshell.
This may sound like a silly question; but is there a course available that offers some education to people interested in getting into the boating world?
Nothing mandatory, but something that would teach things like what trim to use in certain situations, docking etiquette, etc. I'm not a boater, but if I were to get into it, I think I would benefit from something like that so I don't end up like that photo of the carver or the beached boat at Sauble.....
Time for new snowmobile boots .

Another Klim Adrenaline here. 16 years & 30K miles and still in good shape with minimal wear. They are Warm and comfortable. I Just bought a pair of Adrenaline with the BOA system but could likely get a few more seasons out of the my original pair.
