I used to follow drag racing in my late teens when I worked at a friend's greenhouse. He was a former drag racer from the 60s. He also had a speed shop in NY before he and his wife moved to NH and started the greenhouse business. Anyway we went to the NHRA, race in St Pea, Quebec (I think that was the name of the town). It was right after Eddy Hill broke the 300mph mark. I think that they were still running the full 1320 back then. Isn't it 1000 feet now?
When I lived in wy my buddies and I would make the 9 hr ride to Denver for the mile high nationals at bandimere speed way. ‘94-95-96-97 Saw the first 300 mph pass and it was John force in a funny car!! Friday night qualifying was the best. Fire!! They just held the final race there. The owners only owned a small parcel that the track and pits etc sat on. They leased the parking areas and the lot owners are developing the land so no parking, no race track. The track owners have said they are planning to build a new facility out near the airport but it’s years out. It was a cool place to watch drags.

I don’t think we bought any vegetables lol. Donuts, apple maple barbecue sauce, and some peaches. The peaches are from Pennsylvania and epic. They seem to be a thing. There were crates and crates of them that were reserved for people. And traffic was steady.

Let me guess, you couldn't help yourself and had to go get some donuts, lol
It’s a 2 donut ride back to pavement. Slow rolling in the wife’s expedition. With 4 in reserve.

How do you like your Napier Truck tent? I am real close to pulling the trigger on one. I was think of the sports with the add on room for gear storage and a screened in porch.
It’s new. Maiden voyage next week at dirtdayz rally. It goes up quickly, I did it on the ground then lifted it into the truck( way easier). I can stand up but gotta have my head down. Coleman xtra wide cot. I have a pop up with solid side panels that I’ll snug up against the tailgate.

I ride my ‘14 Indy sp 800 around 1500 miles a season . I live on trail in northern NH. I think I’m going to register in VT this year for some new scenery. Umbagog/millsfield/Errol is my favorite riding in NH. I ride from home when the conditions are good but drop at SDR,Nash or in Jefferson when chasing snow. It’s time for an upgrade sled wise I think. Though I love my Indy.

Its strange...I've yet to meet one person....not a single one that when the topic is brought up supports giving Ukraine a dime.
X2. But I still see Ukraine flags flying around from time to time. Usually a Subaru parked in the yard. Coexist!!!!

Bud of mine that has a place in groton vt was telling me about that place.
It’s worth the drive if you’re in the area. The donuts on Saturdays are epic. Beef is top notch.
