I tend to creep up on the sights, I’ve had ejected cases hit my glasses before. A bit unnerving. I’ve tried some deflectors but they never stay in place. I’m going to try an adjustable gas block. 

This Reminds me, I’ve got to get back on track building my latest pew pew. It’s a scary black one. I want a lefty upper but they are not cheap.

I was lucky. I grew up in town, but with a big field right behind my house, owned by the neighbors,these neighbors were elderly,the husband was a decorated world war one vet, and his wife was a teacher who the local elementary school was named after.  they loved the neighborhood kids riding and playing in their field and they would sit on their porch or in their kitchen window all day long watching us. The cops would come all the time, and Mr. Lakeway would shuffle right out there and tell them to beat feet. It was great.

Franconia notch state park is out of control. Been that way for a few years now.  Happened quickly too. Was always just the sleepy state park way up north. Now its no parking, standing room only on the weekends. 

This should get toolkit checking flights and organizing his affairs in preparation for a long vacation
