I'm not surprised you did more last year than they did this year, or that they didn't do many/any this year, doo or poo didn't release anything earth shattering  new, and have lots of leftovers in the field, while AC released the 858.

If they are 1/13th of normal, and you are 5x that you are about half of their normal year.  Is that enough to gain market share in your area?  Does it bring your number up to higher than it was in '18?

This is their lowest snowcheck year ever. By a lot. Our local numbers are pretty consistent. We always have snow. Last year the lack of Polaris inventory was offset by more Doo deliverys.

We will gain on Polaris but I think Doo will stay strong. Polaris customers are pretty upset with quality, customer service and resale. More snowchecks than in MY18 but not MY19. Alphas sold well for us.

BRP won't realy be hurt that much by this, they know the business well, and are obviously planning for it.  But AC on the other hand, does anyone think they'll even sell as many units as this year?...

Textron finally let them spend on new products after far too long, only to release them into the worse market in over a decade. Wonder how the board is going to react to orders falling so short of expectations?

BRP's cut in sled production, is more sleds than AC's has built in a year since the 03 firecat

My buddies Poo/Doo dealer ship is 1/13 of last year for snowchecks. Our cats are 5 times what they did.

We checked more 600 Catalyst Ms last year than their total snowchecks this year.

Who is gonna F7 swap a catalyst? Slap a new F7 top end on this beast, oh tree ECU and you will have the god of all snowmobiles.

Or you could just put F7 cylinders on the catalyst bottom end, convert to the race sleds throttle body injection and have a real ripper.

  4. In the west, Polaris screwed themselves and customers over so hard that I know of several 100 plus sleds a year dealers that are considering dropping Polaris rather than paying flooring on MY24 sleds that no one wants.

Carls has over 110 MY24 sleds left as of last week. But at least they cant sell them until the new gas cap stickers show up.

I'm not a fan of leaked product information and wouldn't post these, except they came right off Country Cat's FB page.  Thus, I figured they weren't leaked - they were put there with full approval by Cat.  I saw the various media trying to scoop each other, but haven't read any of their articles yet.

A couple of observations:  They're referring to models by their platform.  There's a ZR model in every platform, for example.  I haven't seen any further details on the G8 display, but don't think there needs to be - the big announcement is only a few days away, and I'm sure they'll cover it there.  I'm seeing a couple of gaps - no Norseman or other utility sled in a full-sized platform, which is kind of weird.  The omission of an M on the Blast platform makes sense to me.  No "thousands" this year at all, and I think that's good, it confuses people.

I'd love to see them pull a rabbit out of a hat at the last minute, a late season turbo, for example.  That would be fun.

Riot X and Norseman models were dropped. Theres an M400, you must have just missed it.

Not really a leak, it was sent to all dealers yesterday.

  6. I was only able to get 9.25 gallons in my new catalyst after burping it.
I routinely require extra fuel on the old chassis which held more than 2 gallons more.

Dont want to buy a linq system just for them to have their own can next year. I bought some ATACH brackets to try and make my own kit for now.

Unless BDX is fast to market with their tank.

  7. Locally the rep told us you had to make all leftovers disappear ASAP and there would not be any rebates after the existing one. Any dealer that had units left after the rebate ended, lost their dealership.

Makes sense to me because needing to rebate to move units only cost AC money and not the dealer.
No more rebates means that AC doesnt lose money when theres leftovers and inspires the dealers to move the non currents ASAP.

Be nice if Doo and Poo would get on that train because if they all agreed it would be better for everyone.
