It’s my Brand too, but when you have to lay down a large sum o money, loyalty can only take you so far…

10 years waiting for something new and different, I am ordering a Lynx Rave RE, been green all my life, still am!

I am not a Skidoo fan, but BRP owning Lynx and offering it here is a game changer.

If Textron shows us loyalists they believe in us, gets the dealers network confidence back and investment in product development and quality standards I will purchase again.

too many years of passion in being GREEN and our own Cat House to completely abandon ship!

    GO-CAT-GO!

    :bounce:

I love the pro cross as it rides how I like it. Skis stay planted. I only trail ride now and in my opinion, it is the perfect sled. Even if they had offered something new (not plastic like Poo and Doo did), I still would have ordered the 600 RR. Would have preferred the ATACK shocks, but not going 800 to get that. Love the 600!

for a so called fanatic of Cross Country the Polaris Cross Country race sled is a 600cc

the 650 trail sled helps compensate for the Baler being taken away from the Fun Factor Fanatics

    as stated, do some homework

I did. Not enough to even look at. Hell, I dont use my 600 full potential most rides. Hay balers sucked btw. Reason they went away. Ugly with no real advancement. Work harder. Just for fun, Polaris sucks!

I do read results, in fact I start the annual Cross Country thread... and hundreds of others.

Don't be so daft Jim, there's a big wide world outside Nowhereville, MN and people do all kinds of different things for fun and amusement on snowmachines you might initially find yourself uncomfortable with.

In fact @Bontz is nearby and I bet he'd love to try out your 6000 RR and compare it to his freshly delivered 650 XCR if you're willing to swap back and forth... on the trail that is.

Gladly,  but why does poo need to add cc's? Short comings on polaris part?

They still had to get someone to design the engines for them

Yeah, but you are the idiot that rides like grandma, orders an RR which you will hate, and still doesn't have your snowcheck since your one and only choice can't build them this year after taking a really low number of snowchecks.

Have you ridden with me? Fuck you are dumb! Best sales year since 2012. But you are the man I guess. Telling me how much I will hate my sled. Can I catch some of you're wisdom? On second though, no. Cat designed there engines well before the Firecat, but your head is so far up brand shits ass, you have no clue!

#1 I'm far from a Bernie lover. #2 I raised 2 boys whose first jobs, at 13 yrs old, were working at a shop that put together quality bikes in the summer and repaired and serviced sleds in the winter. They learned at a young age that being responsible for your actions was paramount. They did their jobs well and were proud of their work. Sounds like you failed as a parent and now are a hater. Feel bad for you not seeing potential in our youth.

I never was a parent. My choice. Would not want a child running around with the Liberal left your children secretly admire.

Now you're just showing how much of an idiot you are, I've been involved with FIRST Robotics and I'll say todays youth is more advanced mechanically and electronically than you'll ever be, Cat, Polaris, Digi-Key and Marvins are all big supporters locally, but then again they aren't the dope smokers you hang out with.

No. They want Little Nikita to lead them, or AOC. Pull your head out. You ARE choking on bad air.

Bolting shocks or other small items on isn't rocket science bud.    I'd trust alot of 16yr olds that have enough interest in powersports to go get a job at a dealership over many many 20,30 and 40 something yr olds that are just at a job to pay their bills.

Sure you would, until your Primary falls off at 7000 feet.

Production doesn't stop because they are short a part, the way assembly lines work now they can change to another model and keep things moving. Simple as that..😂😂😂

Well the one who made the purchase probably wont appreciate the 16 year old putting his missing parts on so the dealer can profit.

Mine came complete, but storage is an issue when you build volume, when it's something simple for a dealer to install why not send it to them, it's much faster shipping a part then lining up trucks to haul complete machines.  By the way your first sentence makes no sense at all..

Sled is not complete. Simple as that. Might as well have sent the workers home since the stellar quality shown on the net on these great pool's have some (being nice) issues.

They way I understand it alot of the dealers are happy to have to work bolting on shocks, installing gauges etc.  Its profitable for them to do this and with very few dealer stock units its helping offset the profit lost.  Most machines they get in are presold so they aren't getting the same margins from floor stocked units.  So for some dealers its helping their bottom line.  Cat should consider the health of their dealer base going forward

You want a 16 year old kid putting your 15 K sled together? I bet the profit after the warranty is voided will be super profitable.

hows textron doing delivering your 600?

Seem to remember you on AI swearing that you would have it in early January....

Just went by my dealers hope. Not angry as have a spare. Told dealer I will buy it when it comes in, but dont bother taking it out of the box. Wait till the license switches to 2023. Save the warranty till next December. Still better than having 16 year old kids installing missing parts like Polaris is allowing. Primaries falling off, loose bolts and well, poor PDI! But Poo dealers love this. Way more profit. Funny shit right there.

Your reading comprehension still sucks, they went from one line part-time to running full-time on two shifts and moving wheeler production to other factories to accommodate the increased orders of snowmobiles, I was just out snowmobiling with some of management and they're planning on adding a second line for snowmobile production.

Well they are also sending out unfinished sleds so I would call that not running full shifts. Forcing the dealers to build the sleds instead of taking responsibility of the situation. Either way the sleds are not ride able so might  as well be sitting at the factory where they belong.
