It's called a big ask bud. Request something big and negotiate down to what you really want.

So the consensus seems to be just wear more masks.

And that is the problem, thinking somehow "only five gallons"or "was only a few moments" isn't enough, somehow it has to be more so being careless is ok. Anytime you transfer liquid in a hose it can happen but hey you'll be the first to know if its a problem.
That is 100% a fact. So is the possibility of slipping in the shower and bashing my head. Life is a risk assessment.

Not really about volume and you don't know if your holding the a static charge. How often have you unwrapped something and had the plastic wrap stick to you like a balloon to a wall after you rub in on your hair. Same odds as someone smoking at the pump. Everyone is a tough guy until they are on fire then like everything else its someone else's fault.
It's not about volume? Are you telling me that 5 gallons of fuel builds the exact same amount of static electricity as emptying a tanker? The same with rubbing a balloon. A fraction of a second compared to minutes of running the balloon will produce a different amount of static electricity if everything else was the same.
I completely agree with static electricity being a real thing when pumping fuel, but we are talking about 5 gallons. Not 500 gallons.

Static discharge happens anytime you run liquid through rubber hose, its why we ground fuel trucks during loading and unloading. You see it in the winter but it happens more in summer when the air had more moisture. It is the same thing as rubbing your feet on the carpet and touching someone, that little spark. Your bed liner will hold a static charge that will discharge when you remove the gas hose from the can.
I have seen the safety films of them going up in flames and granted it all has to come together just right but when it does, Boom !
I agree, but how is this different than just fueling up your vehicle or a snowmobile on a trailer?
You are also pumping far more fuel from your truck than just 5 gallons so the possibility drops even lower.

It’s easy as fuck to negotiate it compared to that fucking abortion on HCS.
Things are tougher for Poo guys though. Just slow down, take your time. No rush. No pressure.
I was going to disagree with you until I got to the second paragraph. I'm going to try these tips...

I am having an issue with my goggles fogging up when I wear my surgical mask. How are you guys wearing your mask without fogging issues? Should I wear two?

Cheating death! Filling jugs on the tailgate while being unvaccinated and not masked up! Death is my bitch!!!
Funny, my dad has a half dozen old metal five gallon cans….my name is on them!!!!
The vaccine and masks don't stop the flame from burning you, but it limits your chances of nagging mask Nazis telling you to put a mask on while you are rolling on the ground. Still not worth it.

Masks probably caused more health issues than they stopped. It's a perfect breading ground for bacteria and viruses. Now you gotta breath that shit in all day?
What intelligent person put a cloth mask on and said, this is it, this is all we need! It can't be real that people actually believed a cut up shirt was going to stop a virus.
Sure, they might have provided a slight reduction in spread, but they caused far more issues than helped.

Instead of calling it the vaccine mandate, just call it the Joe Biden rape mandate.

Any authoritarian starts by removing the opposition in the government. Most of them have done it out in the open or just plain violently. Biden did it by forcing all government employees to be vaccinated wether they wanted to or not. Anyone who opposed the mandate was fired. Anyone who opposed but had a weak spine just got the vaccine. Either way, Biden removed opposition to him by forcing them out of their positions.

My pediatrician has said from the beginning that our kids should just get covid and get it over with from the beginning. He still says this and advises not to get a test unless they are showing some major symptoms besides a normal cold. They are also completely against the idea of masks and don't wear masks themselves.
It's great and I wish I could have him as a doctor for myself. I absolutely avoid our hospital/clinic or anywhere that requires a mask at all costs. I don't like dealing with anti science people like that.

I personally don't really care about the environmental impact. For those that think going electric will be greener are fooling themselves.
I think electric motors are superior in almost every way to our current engines. The only downside is the battery and charging. Batteries will get better and at some point. I would imagine horse users said where will they get gas and what if I run out for the first cars. This isn't a new issue for charging, it's just slightly different.
More power and the ability to extremely fine tune the power is huge to me. Just think of the ability to get rid of these clutches. You can tune your sled and multiple maps, or even AI that automatically adjusts to the current terrain or altitude. Maybe even a wheelie setting for the Facebookers.
Far less trail closures due to less noise.
Easier for rookies to get into the sport with the reduced maintenance. Less parts to break.
Don't need to worry about how to use a gas can or how to fill it up. I hear thats a big issue for some of us.
Possible autopilot for Backcountry skiers/snowboarders with a follow me mode.
Limit the what type of oil should I use question.
The only actually legit big downside I see to electric snowmobiles is when the government starts forcing them down our throats.

Republicans need to pass a universal gun care bill. Every citizen should get one free gun from the government with a annual ammunition replenishment. Republicans never push for anything. All they ever do is just complain about democrats. Democrats always get what they want, it just might be delayed a bit due to republicans. Republicans think they won when they delay the Dems a few years.

Not only do I fill my gas cans on the tailgate, but I also sometimes wear wool socks while I'm doing it. I have been even known to premix some klotz on the tailgate.

It's an excuse for when the Democrats lose in the moderns and 2024. They will blame their loss on he voting rights bill not being passed.

I think once battery and charging tech improves we will see more electric recreational vehicles.
First thing I would do is install a stereo and feed 2 stroke race can tones through it. Gotta get that braap!

What I'm more curious about is who are the Republicans that said yes to this crap?

Took my two kids out today for a 11 mile ride in the ditches. My 4 year old son rides with me and my 11 year old daughter drove a ZL440. Next time I will get her out in some groomed trails since the ditches we're pretty rough.
