Textron sells parts and sleds to Yami at a significant discount, who competes against AC for the turbo market.

AC only uses 4 engines from Yami, the 998 turbo, 200, and 120 in sleds, and 998 NA on the dirt side (yami refuses to sell a turbo variant for SXS use because they aren't selling one)

IMO the only one that would be difficult to replace is the turbo.

Aren't they doing the same thing now for Doo?

Why are you worried about the governor's race in a state you don't live in?

Florida has 3 million NEW residents since COVID. I'm sure they moved there because they hate the governor.

I wonder if the people who were already in FL appreciate their new neighbors. I like what Ron is doing down here but I'd hate to have all the new people from CA, IL and NY showing up and crowding the streets and driving up property values. FL is  a crowded swamp as it is.

That said he's best governor in the union, but I'm not sure how it would work from DC

It ends next month. The government has made a small fortune in the sell off. Some of that was bought at $20 barrel

Don't disagree with that. Trump tried to buy more when oil was really low but couldn't/wouldn't do the work to get support to do it. But I'm not sure it's wise to be depleting it right now.

Jim has about 600 comments on about 4 different threads on hcs saying the exact same thing. People having reasonable pro/con conversations and he's gotta do his self-appointed textron-supporting moderator thing.

  5. I was thinking of sending some shocks to carver - are they really backed up a month? I don't need them back anytime soon but that seems like a strange delay.

I had DLS do some shocks years ago and he seemed to do good work too with a revalve. C27 shock doc is another guy I've seen recommended.

Hard to know who to work with on this and I'll need to ship them no matter where I send them.

One rocker and one cab corner just started going on my 2006 Silverado last winter. I see the bottom of the tailgate is starting now, too. Lived it’s life in Michigan. 230k on it now. Bought it off the original owner in 2020 with 206k on it. :dunno:

No doubt that most everything metal gets corrosion sooner or later. Worked in a Chevy/Dodge/Toyota dealer for years. The Dodges rusted the fastest around us.

Did the toyotas hold up better? Wondering if anything has a chance in the states that overuse salt.

The Republican Party or whatever crazy faction they are today have done ZERO for Americans.
They won't stand up for the American worker, the struggling middle-class, the children slaughtered in classrooms, the women being forced to give birth, the vets who were injured while serving their country, the people who died unnecessarily from COVID, the citizens who are threatened by the violence they've incited and encouraged, or their fellow countrymen who live in abject poverty without healthcare, sufficient food, or even a roof over their heads.

    Voters see this

More government is the answer. It's worked so well so far, just need more.

Now all of a sudden the student loan debut forgiveness is more than just the decrepit old man blabbering? Last I checked, that’s all it is thus far. I bet it goes down in a big burning ball of flame, just like his vax mandate for all deal.

Forgot the vax mandate. Biden (or whoever is actually President) has been a dream for the authoritarian government in charge of all left.

It's 2030 - you will own nothing and be happy.

  9. Biden's got all the lib agenda passed, so he should be popular with that crowd - stimulus, infrastructure, student debt forgiveness, build back better, semiconductor bill, open border, botched afghan withdrawal, stopped keystone, crazy woman on supreme court...what else could they have asked for in less than 2 years?

Doesn't help that trump has pushed some crazies for the senate - walker, oz, etc.

"Build Back Better" and EV's ... what a crock of shit.  Some of you people who lap this up like dogs at their water dish, you seriously can't see the forest through the trees.  Has zero to do with climate and all about $$$ in the pockets of people.  I wish all of you could be rounded up and isolated to some state like CA and go about your idiotic ways.

EDIT:  "You" doesn't mean you @Art Vandelay, sorry.  It's targeted at some others who are pro-green new deal and this EV bullshit

Agree 100%. All the EV subsidies are total bullshit.

The reason fox charges more is they do a full rebuild. The other shops will replace the usual wear parts or what needs to be replaced. The super cheap guys dump the oil and do a nitrogen charge.

For the dumber ones around here - what's involved in a full rebuild as opposed to replacing the oil and doing a nitrogen charge and replacing bad seals if needed?
