  1. My son had a vibration last weekend, kept riding it and exploded the belt. He said the vibration went down when off the throttle. While changing the belt, noticed the clutch was broken.
    Did the clutch blow the belt, or the blown belt break the clutch?????

  2. The Park Rapids race runs on some trails snow permitting, GG500 runs some trails also along with ditches and rivers. Has to be a nightmare to try and schedule something like that and get permission, permits and then hope there is enough snow!

    Our neighbour had a big collection of screws but not in coffee cans. They were in baby food jars and the tops were screwed to the underside of a shelf that ran the length of his work bench. The jars then hung from those caps. I always thought that was a fantastic idea.....lol

    My dad had the same thing! Have a couple jars on the shelf as a tribute to him!

  4. Love the alphabet roads! I think Mrs. would not enjoy one like that as much as I would, she is pretty spoiled with the Electra Glide! She does enjoy looking at the old iron though, bikes and cars, so I got that goin’ for me😎

    @Potatodigger1 Here is your race.

    There are some videos on YouTube of the early I-500s.  Pretty interesting to see how they ran a race like that on sleds that hardly made a normal ride let alone a 500 mile race.  Plus no real helmets or gear to handle the elements.

    Get that ZR shined up and let’s go! That would be a brisk pace ride!!

  6. Went last year, only 35 minutes from my house! It was pretty small, but the weather was not very good…..did find a few things though. It was less than 1/2 the size of Princeton, but for a first year effort it was good. Would think it would be bigger and better this year?

    Yes, I’m watching a couple but, nothing is really turning my crank right now.  I want another SX but, that’s a project better suited for the start of summer because of what’s involved now.  Not to mention I want a race sled that’s damn near just been uncrated.

    I’ll nab something sooner or later.

    I know this is the wrong flavor for you, but it is still in the box! 😁

    Got mine last year.  Few examples of cooks off it.  You don't need any fancy oils.  Season with canola is fine.  I typically just use olive oil and butter now.

    You’re going to have to buy a trailer now so you can make breakfast before we take off!!

    Are there any semi recent Polaris legends along the same levels as the Skimes, Dicks, Spaulding's, Dimmerman etc that are somewhat household names for average Polaris enthusiasts?

    Gabe Bunke?
    Dont know if Levi actually works for Polaris or not, but probably in marketing which maybe doesn’t count!

  10. I’m going with the usual suspects, be there on Friday, so we get to be part of the “pre-sale” sales! I would think the clothing selection won’t be what it normally is, seems a lot of stuff was out of stock last year?? It will still be a good time with friends and a couple thirteen-fourteen wobble pops 😎! Maybe find out some interesting tidbits on the new XC race sled from some inside sources!
