I don't get why the completely disrespectful pathetic scurges were allowed back here, it's summer I'll give it time but I'm about done with the ignorant inflamotory shock value side of things. Goin back to how OT's daughter's thread was desecrated was the beginning of the end for me. If Rob starts a funnyandinformativeorfuckoffsledder.com site I'm in.
I hope the handful of dirtbags meet the guys and family they pissed all over in person someday and get completely filled in, it was way offside.
Cheers

Some are good some are worthless. Used Safety Kleen for years @ work w/ no issues then the company switched to some eco friendly crap that was about as powerful as water (wouldn't lift moly grease from the parts) & you couldn't use it w/o a resoirator because the fumes were so bad. I wish I could remember the name.
Agreed, I should have clarified. The ECO water based shit is... well shit.
They still sell the petroleum based solvents, the last stuff I got was Virgin and Recycled Solvent, works good.

ever had any issues with your amps? I had a kicker amp that fried itself and it seem like the new one is already on the same career path. My stereo cuts in and out when the boat isn't running. Works fine when the boat is running though.
Check n double tigthen all your battery leads and the connection to the amp switch if you have. Triple check the ground loop from battery to motor to amp, sounds like the ground side is bad and the vibration from the motor keeps it working when it's running, the amp constantly turning on off will pop it. Use di-electric grease and wrenches where ever possible

Frigin PITA getting this stuff sometimes and prices range alot, I get it from Safety Kleen in Brampton (23 Regan Rd). They want it transported like a combustible fuel but I put in our truck bed without much fuss. Throw a liter of tranny fluid in it and it helps the harsh affects of the solvent and dries clean.

Hey, those heffers are an integral part of my ballast/wake system.
Marine stereos have a few differences. My Clarion CMD has no holes on the top surface of the chassis, the PCB is completely encased/waterproofed in urethane, and the front panel is splash proof without a cover. The wiring harness has a water shedder above it, to prohibit any water ingress into the connector. The transom remote is waterproof also, and it sees lots of water. I use 2 automotive amps with no problems, but the decks will eventually fry and be NFG if it's mounted in the cockpit/helm area. Just a matter of time & the wrong conditions.
Again the Heffer Factor

Boats, can you use a normal automotive car radio in them or do you need a radio specially made for a boat? My parents picked up a nice used boat last fall and there is no radio in it.
No issues at all with an automotive stereo, I've had nothing but with amps n subs no problem. I believe it's a potential radio interference classification for the Coast Guard that creates a marine radio. Try and buy speakers with the most plastic, poly or silicone there is to tolerate the water. Ya never know when a stylin dude like puzzler swings by with a couple 250 lb heffers on the back of a stolen Seadoo for snacks

yeah good call. I guess I assumed that the plugs would be one of the first checks on the list for a marina that couldn't get a boat running after 2 weeks of 'working on it'.
I don't have a trailer, that picture is of a wake wedge that someone else built that i will be more or less copying. Hopefully all the stuff I ordered on amazon shows up in time so i can build a couple suck gate v 2.0 for myself and some friends.
Just ribbin Ya

Here is a great thread where I found info on how to build your own suckgate. https://www.mastercraft.com/teamtalk/showthread.php?t=70442&page=98
I just used a shower grab bar from home depot because that is all i could find before the weekend. It worked good for a few hours but started popping off at the faster speeds i wanted to ride at. We moved it higher up towards the waterline so it would stick better but it sprayed a bit. It works best on my boat as low on the hull as possible and about a foot from the transom. I'm ordering a heavy duty aluminium cosmos on off of amazon and using the large 90* brackets. I also have some hope plastic that i will get for free. Some people on there have also had good luck using the sea stow suction handles. My next version rebuild will look like the orange one below.
Thought you said you didn't have a trailer...

I haven't read every detail but mold filled interior sounds like the bilge plug was in and that boat filled up, water is now trapped in the hull and it probably froze that way too. Is the trailer bent or was it stored on blocks
Empty fuel tank: Fuel pick up is gelled up and or fuel filter/water separator is plugged.
Coolant leak in spring ?? Split block or cracked head, head gaskets... it obviously leaked from being froze. Best take compression readings on all cylinders.
Both batteries toast: Either they ran dead on the bilge pumps and they froze or they were under water
One huge negligence case for sure and add it all up this boat sounds like it was sunk and the fuel floated to the surface

Fuhuhuck me, another great ticket sales fiasco.
Anybody have any luck ??

I'm selling my sons 01 CR125, found it last winter all original with about 40 hours on it and since have it track or trail ready with ownership and spare everything. Air filters, levers, throttle tubes, jets...
I'll be asking 3k for it and all the extras.

You are not even close to level of Z, I'm amazed no one ever tracked him down.
Make fun of all the shit you want, there's no need for personal attacks or seeking out and posting personal info about someone.
WTF is the point of posting if you appreciate people putting you on ignore ? Mutual Respect is pretty fn simple.
Is it possible to have the quotes of someone you have on ignore not seen in anyone's replies ? The forums would almost moderate themselves if everyone used the ignore and no none read anything from the typical dickheads.
Cheers
