Those people were poor when coal was being heavily relied upon. They were never paid well.

121 was fine on old short travel skids. When long travel skids came into play a 121was too short. The contact patch gets smaller as suspension travel increases. A 128 in a 13 inch travel skid is the same contact patch as a 131 on a 8 inch travel skid.
