Warren had nothing to do with TARPS problems. Yet you insinuated she did.

    Thats your semantic.

She had a lot to do with the problems with TARP funds.  She couldn't even tell you how she spent the money she received out of TARP.  Pathetic.

  2. 6 minutes ago, Mainecat said:

Boy you just make shit up. She didn't oversee TARP.

Warren was chairman of the Congressional Oversight Panel, which was responsible for overseeing hundreds of billions of dollars in TARP spending.

Are you saying that it's unusual that people get sick or injured?

I will rephrase the question, do you think a brain injury that required 6 months off in 2012 should be taken in consideration as part of a vetting process for POTUS candidate in 2016?

  4. 15 minutes ago, Mileage Psycho said:

Her ability to be POTUS, let's see she was an active First Lady for 8 years, served two terms in the United Sates Senate, and was Secretary of State for 4 years, with that kind of experience of course she has the ability to be POTUS.

Now you may come back and highlight her mistakes as SoS but with that you have to highlight her accomplishments and give her credit for the things she did right along with her legendary endurance she has displayed in her working life, an example would be her visiting 112 countries while SoS, to say she did a poor job as SoS is just nonsense.

What about her head injury and 6 month off due to that?

Correct me if I'm wrong.but didn't the lib gov make the banks give out house loans to people who could not pay for them?

Then the banks bundled them up with good loans to dump them..do you blame them?

Yeah Bill Clinton helped push through deregulation of wall street yet you continue to defend Hillary even if you aren't going to vote for her (yeah right  ) even though it'll be more of the same support of the big banks. :news:

You are aware who changed the laws to allow the banks to do what they did unchecked right? Yup big corporate America pushed congress to remove checks and balances. Not we have tougher laws and republicans are trying to knock them back again. You know who is behind it again? Oh and the Kochs recovered very well due to the bailouts.

Pay attention to what Elizabeth Warren is trying to do, stopping Wall street from doing again what nearly sunk our country.

Warren oversaw TARP, then resigned from it.  She also had to explain why they spent 254 billion on stuff that was only worth 176 billion.  I don't think anyone should be listening to how she proposes to do anything.

I was for the bailouts. If you had a clue you would understand the consequences of not doing it.

Your gonna need to find where I was against the bailouts junior and include GM in that too.

I know you were.  I was not for any of them.  I didn't care about the consequences, because I believed capitalism would have taken care of it.  For someone who is constantly against corporate handouts, you should have been against them.  I can guarantee if the government deemed it necessary to bail out Koch Industries, you would be against that, and that sir is why I consider you a hypocrite and you base your judgement off party politics rather than your own convictions.

An example was the fact that everyone was up in arms when the CEO's from the auto companies took private jets to washington.  Well, no one considered that their (the CEO's) time was worth millions and they actually may have saved their respective company money buy taking the fastest route to the destination.

The ACA was a start to a national plan.

Bank bailouts saved the country and millions of jobs and was necessary.

    TARP is a great program.

    Next question junior.

So you were all for the biggest corporate bailouts ever, yet you continuously yell about corporate bailouts.

Face it, You are a hypocrite.

A majority of the so called conservatives need a dictionary because they continually confuse big government with small government. They preach unobtrusive governing unless it's military intervention in a foreign country or the sexual and marriage habits of consenting adults. The preach small government unless we're spending on prisons, police & drugs. The modern "conservative" is a Democrat with different lapel pin.

Tell this to the dems who continually think that voting conservatives care what the republicans in washington say about trump.

You guys are just stating reasons as to why voting conservatives want to get those people out of washington.

Post it . Anything remotely close to Rumps divisiveness, name calling, and racists comments? :lmao:

Leave it to Doe Dumber to deliver

Did you fail to remember that she was on the board of directors for Wal Mart?

    What about

"There is something wrong when a crime bill takes six years to work its way through Congress and the average criminal serves only four...We need more police. We need more and tougher prison sentences for repeat offenders. We need more prisons to keep violent offenders for as long as it takes to keep them off the streets."

But now it is all about BLM.

Do you have a selective memory or alzheimers?

Yep - and they act like if he changes his toon all his previous stupidity will be forgotten.......until Hillary starts running ads and putting him on the spot

Just Like you and many other dems have forgotten all the stupidity with Hillary

i can't wait until this fantasy of rwws like racer is officially over. i'm sick of listening to trump and his brain dead followers.

Oh look, slinger was finally able to locate a new place to play fluffer.

Please tell me what fantasy you are talking about.  Is it the one where the people of this great country take it back from the Washington insiders?  That's what I want.

What's interesting about it?  The GOP not endorsing him?

The D's love him because he is destroying the R party.....as a staunch R - do you find that interesting?

Have you been living under a rock?  The tea party movement was to get rid of all these do nothing politicians.  There are too many of them that are more worried about their cushy little seat.

If you had an inkling on how politics work you would find it interesting, did Paul Ryan really want to support Trump? The answer is no, Ryan gave his support because he did not want to be blamed if Trump loses, but what a double edged sword though as there are many Hispanic voters in his district.

Senator Mark Kirk R has already withdrawn his support for Trump, many will still say they support Trump but the truth will be the lack of GOP money that flows Trumps way, the RNC will focus on the Senate and House seats.

Hey Racer did I ever tell you that I was invited to both of GWB's Inaugurals?

That's cool, I have a certificate with an invitation to one of Reagan's inaugurals.  It's not mine, but it was my wife's grandmother's

It's very interesting at how the current batch of Republican's and Democrats don't know what to do about trump.

Great thread Vince. :bc: My 14 year old daughter was excited for Hillary this morning as I'm sure millions of young, middle age, and older women are :bc:

Once again I have to laugh at Doe Dumbers stupidity.. I'll take hope over fear.  I'll take unity for divisiveness.  I'll take allies over enemies.  I'll take a coalition over go it alone.  I'll take science over big business.  I'll take globalization over isolationism.  I'll take Hillary over Rump. :bc:

That is because you are a follower.  You need someone to tell you how to think.  I already knew you haven't thought for yourself in years.

  16. Thanks for giving that link.  I find it interesting how you continuously bring up republican elected officials that are against trump.  Here is a little insight about conservatives.  They don't care about what the elected officials think.  They don't want a mother figure or some elite politician telling them how to vote or how to think.  Conservatives believe that their elected officials are elected to REPRESENT them, not to tell them or show them how to live, like the democrats.  That's a stark contrast in this country to how many democrats think.  If you need some elite washington politician to continuously tell you how you should believe, then by all means, keep voting for people like hillary.

Look the pre -existing deal was bull chit from the start..that was just to get everybody in...which btw is a law or you pay a fawking fine!

Idiots use to wait for something bad to happened then would try to get insurance.

Hell hospitals have to take you in anyways.

And insurance for illegals .you have to be kidding me..but ny does give out dl's to them.

You would think Barry would do a big amnesty for them before he leaves office????

There is a reason that DL's are being given out.  Democrats are preparing them for voter id laws.  Making it hard to tell if should or should not be voting.
