He used to be a millwright? Careful on those micrometers, he more than likely used them as C clamps.

I got hired to wrench at the local Chrysler-Plymouth dealer in 1971. I was being shown around the place when I noticed three odd looking cars in the back row way back by the fence. Green, yellow and orange, with long snouts and a big wing on their back ends. I asked what those were all about and the service manger said, "Those are Superbirds-they're back there because we can't sell them". If only I knew then what I know now...

I have a 15 yr old son, this is heart breaking from all sides, that poor kid and wife who lost a great father, the kids who've ruined most of their lives, the mothers and father of the kids, my life would be ruined if one of them teens were my son, never going fishing or going dirt biking with him again, not getting to see him grow into a man, etc.
I dont know if anyone else has actually thought about it like i have but its scary how fast kids and ruin their lives and someone elses
I wonder if theres anyway to donate to the mother and son who lost their husband/dad?
Makes me want to have a heart to heart with my boy about life
There is a Go fund me account it is at $72,000 as of this morning.

So do the 700's have the same Isoflex
crank deal?
Yes they do if you get one with 3000 or so miles you should probably think about getting it re-greased. Also they can be modded to eliminate the grease if desired. If you want to get it done (if you buy one) bring the engine down to me just north of Flint ( you've heard of Flint, right?) and I can hook you up.

Again, I'm not taking pics of parts, assembly processes, or vehicles. We have an experimental garage in here and pics are a no no in there
I realize that, not accusing- just stating what was the norm for GM a while back.

I'm not taking pics of anything other than floor space, demolition and new machines. Nothing that has any affect on vehicle secrecy.
GM had a very strict "NO CAMERAS" policy- I guess that was moot after camera phones became common.
