Ya i use to say that. Lane keeping and adaptive cruise basically make them self driving now. Power running boards are nice as well and you dont get the build up of ice in the winter. Seats are also better when you go up to an ultimate.

Other than the seats and maybe powersteps I don't think I'd want the rest.

Sure. Id rather see neither have a gun. Jmo.

Well sure in a perfect world he wouldn't be a dick trying to steal someone's stuff. Gun, knife, bat, whatever, if you try to take someone's stuff the result might be a painfull lesson

Go 23 and up. I went from a 21 limited to a 23 lariat ultimate. Other than not having massaging seats my 23 is leaps and bounds better than my 21. They thought of everything. Even has cameras on the top of the tailgate.

I'd get a lariat but nothing higher. Too much stuff to go wrong in the long run. I've had a few electronic issues with both trucks, don't need any extra accessories to have to fix

Are running full synthetic? Ive always pushed mine to 15k. I use to do analysis on the oil. Havent on the last couple trucks though.

Yeah full synthetic. I'd push it farther but i have tons of idle time on each change so i stick with 10k. My last 6.7 blew up at 400k but supposedly it was from a glowplug that broke off and dropped in the cylinder. My current one is a bit over 400k and doing fine. Hoping to get 500k out of this 1. I'd like to upgrade to a 2020+ but not ready quite yet

Ya you have to rotate often. The way to fix the chop is to get your front alignment done with a trailer hooked to your truck. My tow truck friend told me to do this almost 20 yrs ago and it cured the chop problem. I havent dont it yet on this truck, but will be getting it done after the new tires are on.

No shit? Never thought about the alignment with a trailer hooked up. Kinda makes sense though. I'll check it out. To rotate often enough I'd have to do it every 2 weeks or so and it's just too time consuming. 2 week oil changes is bad enough...

    P or LR/E?

What are you putting them on?

F350 dually. I've been thinking about hakapalitas, but worried I'll wear them out too quick in warmer climates on dry pavement. I can go from 50deg to -20 and snow packed rds in a matter of a few days then back again so finding the right tire is tough. The duratracs seem to be a good compromise but always looking for improvement.

My last 4 new trucks came with them. I dont even list them on marketplace anymore. Cant give them away.

I run them on the front of mine because open shoulder tires wear choppy on a dually. Otherwise they're the worst tires I've ever seen for traction

They look like a good tire as well. Tire rack price is about the same between them and duratracs.

Ok, was wondering if they went to a newer model. They do list my size in stock and the price doesn't seem terrible.

They're a great tire. I tow for a living and most of my work is during the winter. I've run them all through the midwest, west, and upto the yukon with no issues and never had to use chains. I got about 80k miles on my last set but that's a dually so srw probably won't last that long

Just looked them up on tire rack to see what they look like and it says discontinued/limited to stock on hand. Not sure if that's just for my size or what.

The original duratracs are discontinued, they have a new druatrac rt now. Neither Tire rack or discount tire have the new ones yet. I bought mine from the local goodyear dealer.

prices on all tires is insane but duratracs, especially the commercial ones , are off the charts

I just put 4 of the new duratrac rt on my dually, $1400 hope the new ones work as good as the originals

    Wait..it doesn’t demolish the animal?!😂

I don’t deer hunt much anymore but I’ve used pumps, bolts and levers….35 Remington, 30-30, .243, .270, 30.06….just practice and hit the animal in the right place and you’re good.👊🏻🇺🇸

Pretty much! Where i hunt now i can't see past 100yds. The A-bolt 270wsm sits on the shelf and i use a marlin 30-30. Everyone with their big bolt actions laugh but i bring home the meat regularly

Any proper hunting rd moving at 3100fps and carrying 800lb ft is going to make a white tail dead right there. Should you be shooting them at 300yds with one? Probably not , there are better tools if your area is that open.

Exactly, need to know the limits of the tool you're using.

In 1791 when the second amendment was written this was what “arms” were.

    Muskets Were Common

In 1791, common guns included muskets and flintlock pistols.

According to the Washington Post, a "typical Revolutionary-era musket" had a one-round magazine capacity, and could fire around three effective rounds per minute - in the hands of the most skilled wielder. Its maximum accuracy range had to be within 50 meters. That’s 50 yards.

Yes, but there are laws in place that could have helped stop Card. They weren't acted upon.

See that's the problem, we don't enforce the laws we already have then want to make more. The only 1 this affects is the law abiding citizen. The crazies and criminals don't care about the law. It's already illegal to murder someone and that has 0 impact on these types of people

You agreeing to pay for all these people to get locked in prison for life?  Not disagreeing with you at all!  Just pointing out that all the tuff talk on locking people up comes with a HUGE cost, and yes even putting the needle in there vein!.. So when these laws are being presented the cost needs to be presented also.. Don't have the answers on this stuff, but no way gun control will do anything.. Unfortunately law's have gone soft in this country in general, and honestly its because of the cost  IMO..  Maybe we should cut off all the foreign aid and use that?  Maybe all the money spent on campaign ads for politicians.  Like MILLIONS spent on just one race for supreme court, etc.  Its as if we use all our money on foreign country's issues instead of our own?

I'm ok with the cost, and agree with tge rest of your post
