But they have been receiving it. If they’ve been getting $20M per year, for example, it would be in their future outlooks and would have to be made up for if no longer collecting on it.

I don’t think it’s a bad idea though, as this would be a tax cut for most likely for blue collar workers.

Maybe it's different in other industries but what I'm used to, ot was random. Some years you had alot some very little. Seems it would be hard to plan for that type of income on a state level. It has no affect on me, but It seems like the benefit would out weigh the cost any way you look at it.

You do realize the state needs to replace the lost revenue right? Will this lead to higher real estate taxes, sales taxes for all residents?
The employees that don’t work overtime will have to all pay for this.

When I used to punch a clock, overtime was never a guarantee, changed day to day, week to week. If the state doesn't plan on receiving that money when doing the budget why do they need to worry about replacing lost revenue? It would impact the people earning it more than the state not receiveing it. Not too mention if they have more money to spend the state will collect more sales tax. Seems like a win all around. I can't see how either party could be against this unless they just want more money to waste.

Hard to teach math if they are teaching gender dysphoria classes and talking about feelings. Meanwhile the kids are being dumbed down

I know ever generation looks at the ones after them and thinks the kids are a bunch of idiot fuck ups but these teenagers now are seriously dumb as hell. Might be book smart but lacking in common sense and street smarts. The few kids that have common sense and street smarts with a good work ethic will be/are  rock stars compared to their peers

That's too easy and makes too much sense.

Exactly. Teachers have biases and agendas just like everyone else and use their positions to push kids the direction they want them to go. They shouldn't be allowed to teach anything other than the basics.

  5. Why can't schools just teach things kids need to become usefull members of society? Reading,  writing, math, english, how to balance a check book, money management, you know, things you need in day to day life. Leave the social, religious, and lifestyle things up to the parents.

That must have been a brutal race. Minnesota where most of the races are run doesn’t get enough snow to make huge holes like the Munising area would. You would have to set your sled up like a Sno cross sled over there

It wasn't so rough as far as bumps go but it was a spring race and they had it layed out like an enduro dirt bike race. Lot's of mud, water crossings, and single-track type woods riding. The ice heaves that changed lap to lap were kinda spooky running flat-out across the bay

I'm not sure what it was, but every now and then, that 06 I had would have a bog out of seemingly nowhere.

After I was done racing it and just trail rode it, it never happened.

Could've been the smart valves bouncing off the bottom of the tank. We had issues with that running wfo in the tough stuff. Ended up ziptying weights to the valves to hold them down

I think it was the 06 I raced, I remember leaving a road crossing, getting across the road and pinning it.  Didn't go anywhere, bogged way down, and did a massive backfire.

Split the pipe wide open and ended my day.

I'm sure I threw that out.  Should have kept it for the Wall of Speed and Shame.

My 04 did that to me out on the island in Munising. Tried riding back to the pits but didn't have enough power to get through the creek crossings. Ended up soaked and then frozen stiff by the time the sweep crew found me and got me back across superior to the pits. Closest I've ever been to hypothermia. That race was knarly, saw alot of crazy stuff happen there

I figure if the spring breaks, I'd be done either way, but at least it'll prevent the big chunks from costing me even more money.  It'll at least get you to the road and out of harms way, maybe.

Trick I learned from an old aircraft mechanic.

Yeah pipe issues are more common than people realize. Were you racing in the firecat days when the pipes would blow out usually as far from a road as possible?

Yeah, that is what we are discussing here Twinkle Toes.

Lock wire through even the Y-pipe springs seemed to help if you'd loop it a few times.

Lock wire definitely does the job. Now that I'm old and slow i take the easy way with just rtv

Does that actually help?? I have tried it and didn’t notice any difference

Works most of the time. If you hit a big hole and flex everything it wont really help much but for vibration it does. I think the newer cats come with silicon inserts in the springs, maybe it's polaris i can't remember

How often does that happen? 2015, 18, 20 and 22. One spring. Manifold side.  Literal non issue. Like getting stuck by lightning.

We run silicone on all springs to try to take out the vibration that makes them break and fall off. Pounding through the rough ditches can stretch them too and then they'll fall off.

Couple years ago there was an Alaskan guide that took down a big brown with a 9mm. He was using either underwood or buffalo bore 150g ammo.

Yeah they're definitely making better dangerous game ammo today. I'd still prefer the 10mm if i was in grizz country though.
