I could go along with the beginning or end of season definitely. Here they tried to pass it with the wording if no grooming operations are currently happening. My problem with that is who is the person that decides how long between grooming and atv travel.

Up here the groomer operators make the call wether the trails are open or closed. Early this year we had rideable snow and trails were groomed but the operators said to keep them closed to save the base. They saved it right up untill it all melted. Now for most of the winter the atvs have been out, if done right it's a win for everyone

I keep holding out hope we'll be able to hit the U.P. in the next few weeks, but I think it's safe to say my mileage for the year is gonna end at 86 miles.  I know we won't be riding locally, and that's fine ... I was just hoping to get somewhere up north for one good trip.  Doesn't look like it's gonna happen this year.

Oh well, bring on golf season and RZR rides.

Bring the rzr up to bayfield co. Tons of trails and logging rds to ride. They're still open untill Apr 1, then I'm sure they'll close them for ice out even though there's no snow or ice because the county and forest service are cunts like that

Even though most trails are open here for 4 wheelers I stay off during sled season even though they are begging folks to ride them, even in the Newspaper they are asking 4 wheeler owners to get out and ride to help the businesses..

I think if the trails are on Private lands then it should be up to the Property owners, where I am it's almost all public land trails.

I 100% agree. Only thing I would change is, if the sled trails have enough snow to groom then the atvs should stay off. If the landowners are ok with atvs ot should be allowed.up here in bayfield co I'd guess 75% of our sled trails are on public land and used in summer by atvs also, i see no reason not to allow atv in low snow conditions. Down in the polk, Barron, dunn co areas there's a trail system on private land and road routes for summer atv use and it seems to work well, not all landowners are against atv use

Did not even drink last night. We only sand intersections. Locals have more brains than you. You dont put salt sand down when it snows after a rain. All you end up with is more, thicker ice. It is so fun calling out you idiots.

Funny right over the bridge at halstad the road was clear and dry. Sure beat driving on the thick ice in nc

Looks like a scary high powered weapon of war! You should probly turn that in to the local police before it turns on you and kills everyone in your neighborhood.

I go out for a couple of beers, and wing wed, and I miss out on page after page of the site moron being, clueless, wrong, and saying stupid shit...

    Shafts are coated in chrome...

FWIW the piston has a Teflon band around it, that slides in the bore of the shock body.

Original selling point of the coating was to reduce the seal stiction on float shocks.  Main selling point today, is it looks cool

The heat is generated by a shock comes from working the piston through the oil..  Its a conservation of energy deal, the energy absorbed by the shock ABSORBER, has to go someplace, so its turned into heat.

You must be listening to the mechanics as you're mopping up the shop. For a janitor, you sure have things figured out. Someday if you work hard and study you'll be smart like jim

I used to feel a little bit guilty for the number of timberwolves I've killed for hunting my areas over the years. Then a few weeks ago a lady was out walking their 3 year old Border Collie Holly and marking local X-country ski trails when "some" wolves ran her and got her. Their neighbour, my good friend and breeder of my Lab had to go track her for closure. Webber has played with her many times.

NOW,,,, I feel guilty for the wolves I missed. Fucking sad

Keep up the good work! Kill all you can find, the deer, moose, and my dogs thank you.
